  1. Ah yes, I cut my first plastic as a teenager in the early seventies (removing engine panels from Revell 1/32 kits 😀). After a lifetime I'm now quite confident and none of my models comes out of the box - lots of surgery and scratch-building internally and externally. My GB entry is just another example. My method is easy: Paste a JPG or PDF snapshot of the drawing into Powerpoint, via the function 'size' (right-click on the picture) you can determine the dimensions. If your picture is cut exactly to the fuselage length or wing span you can insert the correct scale measurement, if it's larger you may approach the right size through a series of test prints. Nowadays I always try to find a credible scale drawing in order to check the parts' validity. Cheers, Michael
  2. You use a lot of techniques that I'm trying to apply, too, Troy. Scratch-building cockpits, printing drawings to scale, drilling holes, deepening troughs etc. You do this very well!
  3. Nice work on my favourite parts - propellers and instruments panels, seriously! 🤫
  4. Looks great! I'm very impressed by these Japanese submarines, and your model with the small Aichi M6A1 on board is a nice tribute.
  5. Excellent scratch work! There's no kit bad enough for a model artist...!
  6. Great looking D.VIII (former E.V). It seems the wing was made of plywood not fabric - I didn't know that.
  7. That was a quick build. Great work nevertheless, particularly the wing adjustment and repairs.
  8. This is a beautiful silver-wing, Adrian! Incredible detail for the small scale.
  9. Lindberg = the best kits for the connaisseur. A fine build, this!
  10. Some surgery neatly executed! Fortunately, there is a constant wing chord at this point.
  11. @Mjwomack Why shouldn't I have my own wishful interpretation of the initial parts? 🤣 But a tram is nearly as good!
  12. Fantastic progress with this challenging vacuform, and a very nice cutaway drawing for help!
  13. Aw, I thought it's the Saturn V 😉
  14. Very impressive mini-scale modelling, and a lovely idea!
  15. First class modelling! Never seen this before, neither on photos nor as a model. Thanks for perservering with the build.
  16. Just imagine you had to eat it all! What a sweet model!
  17. That's very very nice - so much action on board. I love the guy with the Reichsadler on his shirt!
  18. Never seen this vehicle before. It looks like the recoil might break its back...! Thanks for sharing this unusual model - very well done.
  19. Impressive beyond words!
  20. Excellent all around! Vehicles must come with a dio - this model tells why.
  21. A work of art. It may be the best 1/72 kit but the build is even better!
  22. Beautiful! Is this the kit I pasted together in 1972? I was clearly overstretched then. Thanks for showing how it should have looked like!
  23. Beautiful cockpit with incredible detail for this small scale. I also like the hangar scene. Great presentation!
