  1. Thanks guys. I'm now dealing with the new revell ford GT le mans
  2. Thanks i built a 956 one too, with rothmans livery. For the seatbelts I did nothing to address the texture problem, it's such a small detail Which is not likely to be seen so easily so I didn't care too much.
  3. Never had any problems, i use them often 'cause race cars has banners on windshields. No probs
  4. yes that would be a nice Martini livery to add. for the le mans series there are 2 toyota GT one too (1998 and 1999) and 2 mclaren gtr long tail (loctite and gulf)
  5. thanks! ehm.. there are at least 2 omissions.. one is the Jag, the other one is the Mazda 787b. Hard to be found
  6. Hi Everyone, Here again with another C-Group Car. This time a Toyota 88C-V, which any Gran Turismo fan should remember. I built it oob, only added Eduard photoetched belts. free photo hosting sites foto link image share immagini sul web
  7. Hi Everyone, i have seen the Ford GT Le Mans from Revell and it has a lot of issues (as any Revell kit). It has awful plastics, not so good details, thickness (on the rear diffuser wings in particular), and wheels too small. Then i saw Tamiya will release a road version of the same car. Detail and precision we all know that will be top notch, as usual (it costs almost twice the price..). I am here wondering if, in you opinion, there could be a chance that Tamiya will release a Le Mans version too. And if someone has Revell kit can make a wip? Thanks and regards
  8. Here's the Tamiya kit with Studio27 detail up and composite sheet. Any comment is welcome
  9. Hi Everyone, i'd like to know if someone is going to purchase the Porsche 911 RSR kit from Profil24 and, if so, if it is any good and if it's worth the purchase. Thanks
  10. the only plus of the Revell is the engine, but for the rest Tamiya is far superior. And it has photoetched details too.
  11. the only plus of the Fujimi kit is that it contains some photoetched details right in the box. But they don't justify the whole purschase
  12. i have built both (fujimi loctite and aoshima gulf) and not only fujimi is awfully high from the ground, but it's plain WRONG. It has parts from the short tail mixed with long tail and from the road version, mixed togheter with bad proportion. Aoshima is perfect. List of things wrong in the Fujimi: - Excessive height from the ground - Short nose - Side windows wrong (taken from the road version with the dividing line from upper and lower part) - Cockpit Rear view mirrors (the Race car does not have any rear view mirror simply because the engine cover is not transparent, so they would be unuseful) - Rear tail too high and too short - Tires too big in conclusion, go with aoshima.
  13. I am realising you commented on my GTR.. lol. Anyway i really love the Fina livery and i am going to make a crazy move and purchase the model factory hiro one.. but i am not brave enough
  14. Awesome! I know this kit very well, i build the Gulf one, nice build mate
  15. Thanks! I'm actually working on a 956 Porsche winner from 1983, with Rothmans livery and yes, there are some iconic liveries and color schemes which are immortal and trascend time! Rothmans, Marlboro, Martini, Gulf, Castrol to name few.
  16. Hi Everyone, is anyone aware of some detailing up set for the Tamiya Porsche 956 1/24 kit? I actually have the Scale Motorsport one, which is nice, but i'd like some other more pieces on the engine and maybe suspension, but i don't find a lot. Thanks
  17. Thanks for the compliments and for the advise. I have to tell you though that I used to work as a professional photographer (Motorsport) but I am no more, and I sold all the equipment, so I have to arrange myself with cell phone. So no possibility to play with lot of DoF unfortunately, but I really appreciate your piece of advice. Thank you mate!
  18. Thank you Keith, i love decals and i enjoy decalling models, and these were cartograf decals, but they were really really tough, and i built the R89C...
  19. ok for the reference photos of the real truck, now can you post the pics of your actual build?
  20. Thanks.. it was quite hard. The hardest since i started
  21. I like the kit and i like the build a lot! Good job!
  22. Hi everyone, I introduced myself few days ago as a newbie. This is my seventh build in total. This is a Aoshima kit with Studio27 carbon fiber decal set and hobby design detail up kit. I always liked this car and this livery, which is painted with zero paints gulf Color set and 2k diamond gloss finish. Thanks all
