  1. .....couplea company's (Trumpeter is the newest or they've taken over another who did) make the clear lexan topped cases with a black lexan bases...........if you've the shelf space for 48th wing things, you've the space for these cases..... no idea who carries 'em..........i DO know they're hard to get here in Belfast.......... i'd much prefer some sorta clear plastic enclosed shelf thingy.................
  2. took the words right outta my mouth.....very eloquent .....wore me out just read'in it
  3. sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet................eye candy great photo work as well.......... God the model work on here is incredible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. ............ sweeeeeeeeet....................love that 2nd pic
  5. nice touch, Skii...........love your work it's all in the subtle details
  6. Hasegawa 48th........Kit: Pt 21, i believe........... one or two minor engineering glitches during the build and a lotta my fumbling & bumbling......... the kit decals over reacted unfavorably, to the Microscale decal solutions......... i've no clue if every Hasegawa kit is this way or just this one...........so, most of the markings on this one are from numerous aftermarket companies: Cutting Edge, Two Bobs, 3rd Group, Eagle Strike, Monogram (Cartograph)........etc......etc. otherwise, i'd recommend it without hesitation...........
  7. it shows, Cop........... Great presentation
  8. loved it..........on every level !
  9. i've a number of Fujimi Scooters........sad they're still not producing kits..........(or are they?) NICE touch, Steve

  12. sorry you're feel'in poorly, Phil, hope you mend quickly and thoroughly.......... you definitely need to create more of your magic.
  13. sweet Canadian F/A-18's..................inspiring work Phil greath tutorial on your sludge wash....... Tamiya thinner as a decal sovent.......why not.............what about Hasegawa decals ? Great Mig ! seems with your talent, do'in it for a liv'in musta come natural........... and it's s'good to see the pleasure's still there.........it shows !
  14. .........more what they said only detriment (imo) is the already mentioned, ever dreaded, wearability (durability?) although i'm convinced there's a solution............ wish Aeromaster Acrylics were still around.........
  15. i love the Scooter.......from XA4D-1 to what's still in foreign service...... .........never posted images on a forum before............so, here goes..................be gentle y'all off and on, maybe 40 hours to get to this point-1st top color coat .......yet only another 10 for here 1 1/2 hours to here....... due to some time lapses, international travel & sheer laziness, this project is in it's 3rd year......... from your perspective............ya think it's been worth it ?
