ICM 1:72 Mitsubishi Ki21-Ia in Thai markings
Nanond replied to Nanond's topic in World War 2 Twins Mega GB
Good question. I'm wondering about it as well. Other than a small opening for the gunner, much of the green house just covers the fuselage. It made a unique-looking plane nonetheless. Nanond -

ICM 1:72 Mitsubishi Ki21-Ia in Thai markings
Nanond replied to Nanond's topic in World War 2 Twins Mega GB
With the arrival of spring, the work on this little gem from ICM has resumed. Much of the interior details will be hidden despite the extensive glassing. It's a lot of fun to do though, so why not? Nanond -
Hello! Aw, it's already April?! The deadline is coming up fast, I guess. It's about time we start putting the paint on. Let's begin with the office. I detailed it with Eduard PE set for Bf110G-4. It's a nice little set that adds very nice details to the radio equipment, the instrument panel and the pilot's harness. See you in the next update. Nanond

My two P-51's finished last year. Both are Tamiya. I'm looking forward to the new P-51B from Eduard. Nanond- 35 replies

Good job! Yes, I had a similar experience with the shark-mouth decal and had to touch it up with paint. Very nice finish! /Nanond

Converting the Airfix Me 410
Nanond replied to Enzo the Magnificent's topic in World War 2 Twins Mega GB
Surely an interesting topic, one I have thought about doing as well. I'll follow your progress. /Nanond -
My second contribution to the GB. It is the nice Mitsubishi bomber from ICM in Thai markings during WWII. Parts are already removed from the sprues on this one. /Nanond

First of my contributions to the GB. Eduard 1:72 Bf110G-4. This one is a Weekend edition but it also comes with a small PE sheet for the radar. I'll throw in an Eduard set for cockpit interior just because I already have it. /Nanond

Very nicely done. I'm impressed by the markings and painting. Your work on the landing gear bay adds so much to the improved appearance.

Tamiya 1/35 3,7cm Anti-Tank Gun PaK35/36
Nanond replied to bissyboat's topic in Ready for Inspection - Armour
Very well done. There is certainly a charm about these oldies. For one thing, I still think Tamiya gun crew has the best posture of all. It will be interesting when they revisit these guns and give us the 21st-century treatment. -
Yes! Eduard's new P-51B/C should be out by then. I'm in. Nanond

I'll sign up for this GB! Many tempting kits to choose from. Nanond

Wow! What a stunning finish. The open ventral gun position really makes the difference here. Nanond

Fairey Barracuda Mk.II 1/72 Special Hobby
Nanond replied to Redboost's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Splendid! For a strange-looking aircraft like Barracuda, it is strangely attractive. You have done a master work finishing a Special hobby kit this good. -
ICM new 1/72 Mitsubishi Ki-21-Ib bomber
Nanond replied to Nanond's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Definitely, you should try ICM's Sally. I also have the Revell kit. Compared to ICM, the old kit really shows its age. It is good but ICM it that much better. -
Very nice looking Kate. It's good to see one not coming from the main carrier.

ICM new 1/72 Mitsubishi Ki-21-Ib bomber
Nanond replied to Nanond's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Thanks. I use red Tamiya lacquer paint with a tiny bit of red brown. Totally agree. The recent kits are very nice and much different from ICM kits from 10 years ago.
