  1. Hi, For a quick second there I thought that that was a picture of a full scale Crusader and some sort of mutant giant bee 😬 (ilikely from Australia, since everything from down thereis big, scary and likely capable of killing you 🤯)
  2. Hi, For drawings you could mayne check the Royal Museum at Greenwich. I did a quick search and didn't see any drawings for HMS Ramilies, but I did see some for HMS Revenge as outfitted in 1939. Search – Royal Museums Greenwich (rmg.co.uk) Regards Pat
  3. Hi, Your build looks great. I really enjoy seeing some of these lesser known vehicles (especially the inter-war stuff).
  4. Hi, The Centaur was a fascinating tank. Can't wait to see more of your build.
  5. Hi, Thanks for posting. You build looks good. Where did you get the model from? Its interesting to see models of ships from the 1950s. Its not a period that I know alot about. Pat
  6. Hi, The only kit that immediately comes to mind for me is the old FROG 1/500 HMS Royal Sovereign kit that has been released many times by various Eastern European manufacturers, and can be found on eBay. It is a fairly old kit, with some releases really showing its age, but it possibly could maybe be built up to something decent with some work and added details. Pat PS. Here are a couple links to some builds of the kit for reference HMS Ramillies HMS Royal Sovereign Soviet Ship Ark Archangelsk
  7. Hi, According to Wikipedia the Mikasa was similar to the RN's Formidible class but with an etra 6inch gun per broadside. Looking at images on the internet it appeara that these 6 inch guns are arranged in the central deckhouse on the Main Deck level, with a gun at each corner for both designs on both the main deck and 01 deck levels. On the Formidible class there appears to be two additional 6 inh guns per side between the fore and aft guns, on the main deck level (as per the link below). For the Mikasa there appears to be three addition 6 inch guns between the fore and aft guns on the main deck (as shown in the 2nd link) Formidable_class_battleship_diagrams_Brasseys_1906.jpg (1209×883) (wikimedia.org) Japan's 114-year-old battleship Mikasa: A relic of another time - CNET As such, that may be a starting point for trying to convert your Mikadsa model into an RN ship. Both ships appear to have four 12 pdr small guns per side on the 01 level between the fore and aft 6 inch guns, so it does not appear that it would be necessary to make any changes there. Other pictures of the Formidible look (at least superficially) similar to the Mikasa though the masts, small boats, and other such fittings may likely have changed over time on both vessels/classes. As such you may want to look over images of the RN ships throughout their careers to see what other detail changes might make sense for your conversion. Best of luck Pat
  8. Hi, I agree with what others have already stated here, your work look phenomenal

  11. Wow, your build is looking great. I always wanted to try something like this, but am afraid that it might be too much for my level of abilities. Ca n't wait to see how your build turns out. Pat
  12. Hi, This looks fascinating. I'm looking forward to seeing more. Pat
  13. Hi, Have you considered maybe cutting one of the soft plastic kits up to make castings of the parts? I have seen other make some smaller parts with stuff you can buy from a Hobby Store. I haven't tried it yet myself, but I did buy something called the Alumilite Super Casting Kit recently and hope to give it a try for some stuff that I am working on. Regards Pat
