Sweet. Just a note the roof constructions were not used in combat and were ment to be used when mounting or dismounting the sponsoons. Photos of destroyed HMLS Sir Archibald and other Mk Is destroyed (HMLS Nutty and HMLS War Baby) don't show them. BTW: HMLS Sir Archibald (2nd Lt Living) destroyed on 17th of April 1917 on the first day of 2nd Battle of Gaza (April 17th – 19th 1917) - hit and burnt out. Officer and 2 OR wounded, 3 OR escaped but shaken. One can say the Italeri kit is a brand new kit based on old Supermodel for shape of bigger parts. i had both and there is no comparison in level of detail. As with Re.2000 the engines are still old "universal Italerei/Supermodel" engines.

Jay Thank you for the info on sponsoons. I knew that something was off. Cargo doors on LH side are visible on the few pre-camo (still in natural Al-white) photos. I will study them in more detail. As said not my forte. Bonus question: in early ops did it carry the additional fuel tanks on the wings? e8n2 the original 54-1626 is in the Air Forces museum. From 1 photo i have still with 3 bladed props. long nose, longer LH sponsoon, additional targeting equipment on lh side under cockpit (as on later versions) With my luck after i am mid trough Zvezda will issue a kit of it.

OzMods has engines, props and wing pylons with fuel tanks. Roman nose is from Blackbird modes as are decals for Super Spooky (AC-130A 54-1626 wearing incorrect serial 0-41626 flown from Ubon RTAB 1968) e8n2 of course you are right RE Vulcans and Miniguns.

OK Herks are not my forte. So what would need to be done to backdate the Zvezda kit of C-130H to make C-130A? I already have OzMods conversion OZCONV7216 set and Roman nose for early C-130A's for Italeri kit (they will fit one way or the other). What else needs modification? Are the fuselage and wings OK? Ultimate goal is acctueally the first AC-130A 54-1626 Super Spooky with roman nose and 4x20mm + 4x 7,62 Vulcan configuration. I intend to rob italeri AC-130H kit for some parts. I do know that in that case Left sponsoon needs to be modified but the rest?
