  1. A great set of images Tony from a great little museum in the back of a pub garden! I think my re-visit to this wonderful time capsule is overdue, Mark
  2. Here's a photo I took of the 12 Sqn T-bird shot at Coningsby last Thursday. Regards Mark
  3. Delightful John! The PR.9 in high speed silver looks a real racing machine! Good luck with the rest of your builds. Mark
  4. Right place, right time! Lovely shots of battlefield helos in their natural setting. Thanks for sharing. Mark
  5. Not Ocean Grey. Should be Medium Sea Grey and Dark Green over Light Aircraft grey for most pre wrap around camo aircraft. Mark
  6. Impressive as ever Leigh and looks like you found an excellent vantage point. I enjoyed watching it from the TV but would rather been outside to witness that specttcle for real. The 'C 'R' formation was jaw dropping. Mark
  7. Great images Leigh and everyone else that posted of what was a grand final tour but nevertheless a sad and poignant occasion. Seeing brand new RAF Hercs flying overhead as a 5 year old was one of my earliest aviation memories. 56 years later they are finally retiring on and its difficult to imagine an RAF without them Mark
  8. There's at least 9 Coningsby Typhoons in the flypast as I saw them practicing today. There may well be more as 18 launched. Mark
  9. Not on the list Dennis although the flight south from Lossie to Leeming must surely go close to Leuchars? Mrak
  10. For those in the UK on Wednesday June 14th, there will be a final flypast of 3 x RAF Hercules prior to the type's imminent retirement. All times local. 11. Terrific images in lovely weather at that most scenic of airfields. Lovely to see the BBMF Lanc topsides. Thanks for sharing. Mark
  12. Great images Sven of a very rare and unusual C-135 variant. I do remember seeing that particular machine at RAF Fairford once in the late '80s on one of it's very few deployments outside of CONUS. Mark
  13. More great 'period' shots Leigh from such an evocative airfield. Lovely stuff! Mark
  14. Looks like a great event blessed with fine weather. Nice to see all the Brize heavies together on the same pan for you to photograph. Quite poignant to see two of the last five Hercs still in service, and depressing to think in a month's time they will be consigned to history. Somehow doesn't seem a fitting end to a type that has been a faithful servant to the RAF and our nation for over 55 years. Lovely images and some quite different angles. Thanks for sharing Leigh! Mark
  15. That's a great result Lord Riot. A first class build and lovely paint job. You can be proud of this one that's for sure. Mark
  16. Superb images as usual Shaun and its hard to pick a favourite. You certainly have a knack of choosing exactly the right vantage point to capture such excellent photos Thanks for sharing. Mark
  17. A phenomenal build and back story. Without doubt the best Lanc I've seen built in 1/72. The extra detailing is sublime! Mark
  18. Another top quality set of images Leigh from a event I had planned to go to then forgot about It's nice to see an RAF Herc making one of its last public outings and the golden evening light brings the photos to life. Great stuff and thanks for sharing. Mark
  19. What a great season opener Leigh! You were indeed blessed with some lovely weather and cloudscapes on what was a very changeable weekend. I too think the B&W images really highlight the detail. Thanks for sharing Mark
  20. A fabulous build and stunning Alpine background. Lovely weathering too. Mark
  21. Delightful! A type rarely seen in model form and those RAF decals and lovely clean finish look great. Mark
  22. A superb build and finish. Thanks for sharing. Mark
  23. Quite beautiful! An amazing amount of work, detailing and careful painting has gone into this tiny helo. You should be very proud of the end result. Mark
  24. Quite delightful! A terrific rendition of a kit rarely seen as RFI. I do like the subtle weathering and Transport Command livery. Thanks for sharing. Mark
