  1. Just watched your YouTube video Dr. Very good build as always. Great result! I agree a fantastic kit. I bought a second after finishing the first one!
  2. That's much bigger than I thought it was when you placed it next to the Mig 21. Great looking plane. Different too.
  3. This looks like it'll be a great build. I didn't know there was a correction set for the cockpit. I might have to buy another F111 although they do take up a lot of space in 1/48 scale!
  4. Fantastic Backfire! Haven't seen one of these built up before.
  5. Very nice job there. Not a bog fan of WW2 era aircraft but seeing builds like this make me want to buy the kit.
  6. That's a fantastic result from a challenging kit. I made it myself so I know what you went through making it. I didn't add any after market extras. I might be a bit weird here but I often like a challenge like this.
  7. That's really quite something in this scale. The painting around the windows is first class!
  8. I don't think I've seen this built up before. I remember seeing one in the model shop my wat before it closed down and it was huge to put it mildly. It looks great and considering you got an wven white coat on a model that big is impressive!
  9. I've seen a few of these built and all in the green/black/brown camouflage. This in my opinion has turned out better than the others. Great result. Any chance of seeing the underside if at all possible?
  10. This is great, first time I have seen one built up. How big is the wingspan? It's something I would like to have in my stash at some point in order to sit there for years lol.
  11. A great result. I built this kit over 10 years ago and I recall it was very enjoyable and a really good kit all round.
  12. Trumpeter are making a 48th scale version of this which is the scale I'll go for but judging by the size of that next to an F-35 it might be a bit too big!
  13. I agree the change of camo looks well. What scale is it? Great looking finish.
  14. Looks good so far. Also your comment about the Hellcat being a joy to build is good news as I am making the 24th scale Hellcat at the moment. The Typhoon is a good looking aircraft and it looks likr you're getting it together quite fast!
  15. Very nice! I have to say what exceptional detail painting as well. How were they to build?
  16. Thanks. I was looking at photo's of the real thing and they did get dirty and beaten up. I was going to do more but I thought nah that's enough it's easy to keep going haha.
  17. Thank you I took my time with the painting the model it took longer than the actual build in the end!
  18. Hi everyone this is my latest and greatest model. I really mran greatest as well I think this is my best effort yet. I have wanted to build a Gulf War GR1 for a long time. This was a present from my girlfriend and it is the Italeri kit. I enjoyed this as it is not a complicated kit but the surface detail is superior to the Revell 48th Tornado in my opinion which makes it great for washes. I wanted to do a heavily beaten up plane I have seen photos with the original green and grey paint showing after the sand took the desert pink off. I also read the desert pink camouflage was mixed by hand so the Tornados were never quite the same and then rollers were used to touch up the paint so there was no reason not to go to town with the weathering and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The colour was a mix of Tamiya pink, stone and sand. I sanded each layer of paint with 3000 grit to make sure the surface was as smooth as possible and used AK extreme metal for the guns and engines. Anyway enough of my waffle. I have another five Tornado kits to build so enjoy the photos and if you have any questions ask away!
