I live nxt to westlands airfield... all helicopters now and odd private plane.. This aircraft is 1 of my favs . And had a Westland aircraft history book from my dad from westlands ,with a lot of history on it.. sadly none left ,if I remember they had a few their after war but were then scrapped.. don't know if there are any full mock ups about today ..but it's a damn shame so many great planes are lost ... Having built many whirlys and lysanders over my years...my late step grandfather has made many of classics in brass that site on my dad's fireplace ... I built the big matchbox lysanders for him in 80s for said brass sculpture , he bought me the kits to build so he could use as reference .

Thanks will edit header if I can.. It's the runner part . I've painted both parts of canopy ,the front part fits fine . It's the back part that sits on the runner ,with out the runner it sits on plane but has gap at back and sides (Just doesn't sit right).. with out this part not sure what to do .... thanks

Hi fellow builders... I have built a 1/32 revell spitfire mk 22/24 .. all painted up just waiting top coats / detailing .. and get to canopy that the back clear part sits on a runner ..and its warped so bad ,trying to softly heat and straightened fail and has now snapped ,total loss Now I've have had no luck with revell and never have ... thank God airfix have always come through.. So have any of you built / know this model, and can help either by a spare part or how to get round it .. Many thanks Craig.
