I started this at least 15 years ago, probably closer to 20. Got as far as starting re-scribing and gave up. Lockdown stash sorting and it re-surfaced. OOB othe than the rescribing and a certain decal.

Just taken delivery of a CMR Gamecock as I couldn't find an Aeroclub one ( then one popped up on e-bay the day it arrived ! ) Hope it looks as good as yours Just completing the Aeroclub Gauntlet ( sorry Keith ) and Airfix Gladiator -

I built the Dynavector one back in the day - it should still be either in Norwich Air Museum or the RAF Coltishall one. Memories of fitting each vortex generator individually into a small hole I'd drilled

725 came back from the SAOEU and went to 54 as GU.

Yes - when they went grey so did the inside of the intake box. The zinc chromate trunking used to get very dirty and stained due to hyd oil / fuel seepage If you look at Julian's pics in the walkaround section you'll see wht I mean !

Green to the back of the box ( just behind the back aux intake door where the box splits from the fuselage ) then zinc chromate to the engine

Yep - there is a famous picture out there of one trying to lift an H-21 out of a swamp. I know they did a fair bit of recovery work before the newer turbine powered machines appeared -

To be fair it went together fairly well for a limited run kit. Only real trouble I had was with the transparancies, and the instructions are not always the easiest to follow. Finding one was the biggest challange. 1/48 - I'd need a bigger shelf ! This is not a small aircraft
