  5. Moved to my computer desk as its the cleanist desk in the house, Started to add the decals this morning 1/4 the way through the right hand side and She is looking ok even with the Kits own decals, but I have used MA Roundels from Nimrod Part 3 I have also added the HF airel
  6. All depends on the weight 64 at 35,000lbs Fuel weight 49 at 81,000lbs Fuel weight Just a note, 64 is in her new colour scheme with the all over grey and low vis markings, were I am building her in the now older grey with the temp reducing cabin top same as 49 above
  7. I will have a go with my next build, on the real aircraft the Fairing Door should sit just below the top of the Wheels and it should have a slight nose down sit or be level, depending on the tempreture, How much to take off? I would't like to say its going to be trial and error, but once I have done it I will let everyone know
  8. All the little niff naff painting completed, ready for decals and weathering once the HF ariel is fitted, I will then create some bungs and blanks I don't like the fit of the canopy but i'll adress that in the next model, this was very much a trial build I will get round to those Spitfires one day
  9. This one is mine, the squadron did say they were going to by me one though
  10. Yeah, I have also added the lightning spikes to to the Wing Tip Pods, which I have also shortened because there were way to long even for the R1s longer pods (I can not use there real name as thats classified, they are not ECM Pods) I have also fitted the Pitots and Q Heater I will create a list of all my additions when I have done
  11. Which Mark are you looking to build, as the R is different to the MR Filler and sanded flush with Micromesh, I have used it to polish out window scratches on the real R1
  12. It is the only clear space I have at the moment, this is very much a trial and error build, my next one will be built with the knowledge of things I have learnt from this, either a MR1 or R1 from the late 70s
