  1. Hi Martin, Definitely, I made the FOD covers using Tamiya Epoxy Putty (smooth surface type).
  2. Dear All, Tamiya's interpretation of F-16 is an outstanding kit with pretty fine details and easy build. Added only resin ejection seat and PE from Eduard, painted with Mr. Color. The plane stationed in Japan, a few years ago I had the opportunity to see it and walk around at Yokota Air Base (friendship festival). (Some of the static dischargers were broken off, need to replace them.)
  3. Thanks Roman, It's a pretty interesting and still undiscovered part of the history and military aviation, Russian-Soviet air-personnel used several "exotic" painting schemes on their Migs in Korea, if you're interested in the topic, this book is highly recommended: https://ospreypublishing.com/soviet-mig-15-aces-of-the-korean-war?___store=osprey_rst
  4. Hi, Let me share with you the photos of my latest work, Mig-15 in North-Korean camouflage from Eduard, in 1/72. Added some PE and resin parts from Eduard, and brass gun barrels.
  5. Unfortunately the plane can't be removed from the stand, after it's been fixed to it, but here's the only available under surface work in progress photo (before panel line wash and weathering). Next time I won't forget to make some under side photos as well. BTW this is next project (Eduard 1/72 Mig-15), and try to keep in mind the under side photos
  6. Thanks for the comment, you were right, the mast is in a wrong position, it was a really silly mistake. I noticed and realized the failure only in the final weathering steps and frankly wasn't brave enough to repair it 😕
  7. This is my last work from year 2018, a Russian Il-2, from Tamiya, in 1/72 scale. It was a pretty easy built, used some photo eched parts and canopy mask from Eduard, and Mr. Color.
  8. Thanks Andy, it was not easy to "play" with the camera settings to get this result, but sometimes the black background works better.
  9. Recently finished this Japanese made Mitsubishi F-1. The kit comes from the Platz, with outstanding details (and upgraded with Platz photoetched set), but it was a difficult and challenging build and it needs a lot attention.
  10. Thank you for the comments and for your feedback. Some WIP pic
  11. The plane was flown by F/O Edgar Wilson (RNZAF) of No 146 Squadron in India in September 1944 (just wanted something unusual and exotic paint scheme, not the ordinary and well known US olive drab camouflage) http://www.gaetanmarie.com/thunderbolt-mk-i/
  12. Finished a few years ago, Tamiya product, Eduard photo etched parts and ExtraDecal signs. P-47 in RAF Far East colours.
