  1. I think there is no need to identify them from the outside, so the c/n on a plate somewhere on the helicopter will be enought. On older picturese there are sheets with numbers on the inside of the cabin windows, maybe the also handle it this way this time.
  2. Best kit you can get is the one frome Zvezda, they also got the -V version. The numbers of the first two transfered Mi-24s are 3370 and 7353, but the numbers are overpainted with the two white tailbands now.
  3. Thank you all for the comments. I´ve only seen one pic of them, parked on a field. It shows massive yellow-blue markings over the fuselage. Not my taste but an interesting subject anyway. I think 1/48 is more your business than mine, so let's get it on.
  4. Really nice work.👍 The heat section looks great and so does the overall finish of your Hun. It's A shame that Trumpeter miss did the intake this much.
  5. Thanks for your kind words Martin. I also think most of the western Hinds will find their end in Ukraine soon. Best kit in 72 scale is in my opinion the Zvezda hind. The details are very nice, the fit is nearly perfect and you can choose from severl version from the Mi-24A to the Mi-35. Daniel
  6. Hi guys. I used the sunny weather this week to took a few pics of the Mi-24 I finished two weeks ago. Here you can find the wip-thread. If something wasn´t writen there, just ask😉. Regards Daniel
  7. Just wow, can´t find any other words. This is by far the best thing in scale modelling I've seen so far.
  8. Totally missed this. Very nice modell of a very unusual subject. The colors and weathering looks great.
  9. Your Hind looks great so far, all the details from the engine/transmission and the rotor will make it to an eye catcher when finished. I just completed my Zvezda Hind in 1:72 scale, so I will follow your build with interest.
  10. Very nice modell, nothing more to see of all the issues this kit offers.👍
  11. Nice progress on your Gripen. Seems the fit issues gives you some extra hours of fun with the kit.🤪 It´s a shame for a relative new kit...🙈 But you´re doeing a real good job so I´m sure it will all end good. I´m looking forward to the painting of the splinter camo. Daniel
  12. Very nice built and painted. I got the kit in my stash since it was released and I´m still not sure what livery it will get when I build it. Your modell is another good reason to do the colorful alternativ.
  13. The last few steps are done and I reached the finish line. ...but one after the other... There was only some little parts left to attach, the wipers, doors, landing light and finally the tail rotor( the main rotor will stay removable). Here it is, finished after almost half a year. A little base and three figures from CMK and FC Model Trend will give the Hind a appropriate surrounding. As base I used a piece from our old dining table😆 and some cardboard for the apron. Wheel chocks, a Oil barrel from Balaton Model and a 3d printed pallet were the last things to do. Finally, a small teaser...
  14. Very nice Hawk, the finish is right on the point. Always nice to see some scandinavian models.
  15. Very nice Hog👍. After looking at your build report, I can only say, you did a great job. Looked like a hard piece of work to get this result. Daniel
  16. Stunning work, the detailing on your Hornet ist just amazing.👏
  17. Not my favorite scale but one of my favorite topics, I'm following. I´am curious how the kit will go together, hears not the best about it. Daniel
  18. Fantastic work, I love the Viggen and your work does the plane really justice.
  19. It´s been a while since my last update and I went forward close to the end with the Hind. Once the landing gear is installed the Hind shows the correct slant to the right as the original helicopter. The rotors got their final paint and weathering and were testfited on the modell. The ResKit rocket pods are a big improvement over the kit parts. It would have been a terrible work to drill al the holes proper. The barrels of the 23mm canon were opened. There is no need for further detailing when the cover stays closed. The tail boom was completed with all of its antennas and the tail bumper. I rebuilt the tail bumper out of some injection needle as the kit part were the wrong shape. For the antenna wire I used some drawn sprues. Last for today are the exhausts. As the fitting to the engines was not that good, I decided to use the covers from the Eduard set as well. Now there are only some traces from the super glue and some little paint damage to fix and some last parts to mount before reaching the finish line. Regards Daniel
  20. I´ve overlooked your SF-260 until now. Nice work so far, you handled the fitting issues very well. The belgian livery suits the aircraft very well.I built the kit twice last year and I can feel the pain again looking at your pics.🤪
  21. Work went on with a washing for the fuselage and the wings. I used thinned oil colors as always. After a few days of drying I spray a final layer of Tamiya flat clear TS-80. The last two Quinta decals found their places at the cockpit doors. I really love this 3d decals😎. Next was the main rotor. Zvezda gives you nice hanging blades👍. After glueing the blades on the rotor head they were cut of again next to the kit joint. I drilled a 0,8mm hole and inserted a syringe needle. I used colors from Alclad and Tamiya for painting the rotor. The landing gear was improved by adding some copper wire and the great looking Armory wheels. Daniel
  22. You're completely nuts🤪. ...but I like it👍. Will follow for sure.
  23. When I saw the first bunch of pics in this topic, I wasn't sure how well this project will went. Then I realized who is building it and my doubts was blown away. Especially Sofia II looks very good so far, it´is the proof that also filament printers can bring good results. Sofia I is also very interesting with its interior. I grab a seat and will follow this project. Daniel
