  1. If you are lucky to get a proper file! The plate is 125mm X 105mm
  2. Just got hold of the T 90M from Zeus models, a very nicely printed model with no visible striations, not 100%perfect so I will keep on with my own conversion. the tracks come as one piece and slot securely into the lower hull. the upper hull fits on top (probably better once I clear all the attachment points up) everything is just placed at the moment, I wanted to get an idea of how the fit was, so far there are no problems and fit is perfect. everything just drops into place, once cleaned up will fit perfect. The bar armour is also supplied. the netting around the turret is supplied as PE. there is the option to add the 4S22 soft ERA bags so often seen, as you can see all parts come crammed onto one plate, however removal is easy, there doesn’t seem to be nearly as many attachment points as other 3D printed kits, although you hav3 to be careful as there are items such as antenna hidden in between or under the main parts.
  3. CAT 87 was Bill and most if not all M1IP carried turret bustles, at least a photos show them with one.
  4. May be not the way to go, apparently there is going to be a deluxe version of the Lee kit it would also appear that all 3 versions of the air filter are valid as are the windows in the rear of the cab, some do and some don’t
  5. Unfortunately I got mine before Zvezda announced theirs, attempted to build it, was a nightmare, soon got sidelined when Zvezda released theirs, apart from the wheels and some of 5he PE there is not a lot to use.
  6. No doubt that Zvezda will be the most detailed of the two, but given their slow release of any variants and that Lee offer 5 variants you can either cross kit or given the rising cost of Zvezda kits just spruce up the Lee variant’s. I am not opposed to using click together kits to get what I want😁
  7. Not sure what you are after? But from your title the biggest difference is the Trophy APS.
  8. I have had their Pantsyr and ZSU 23 4 kits, as well as some of their 1/144 aircraft kits, fitting has been less than ideal. They would be nicely engineered for expensive steel moulds unfortunately they are short run. Best advice is take your time and lots of test fitting.
  9. That’s mighty brave of you😂not had the best experiences with ARMORY kits.
  10. As far as I am aware, they are still future releases so you’ll have to wait
  11. That’s a bit of a blow for all those that rushed to get early models of the prototype,
  12. Seems to be a hold over from the 1/35th kit, which is probably an earlier variant, Russia is notorious for upgrading things quietly, however if you wanted the other exhaust Lee models is also releasing a set of Kamaz 5350 trucks which seem to have the air filter you want.
  13. Yeah, I know but I have a funny feeling that the slicer wouldn’t run not cause of windows but of something else, better to be safe than sorry, even though windows say my pc is compatible with windows 10, it would be a bummer to get it and find i still have to upgrade.
  14. It’s not an exhaust but the air filter, the exhaust run under the chassis and exits on the right side behind the fuel tank, the air filter will be dependant on the environment and workload.
  15. As far as I am aware, my PC will run windows 10, thought about downloading it but I might as well upgrade to make sure everything will work, you can pick up cheap refurbished PCs easily enough, my disc player is not working anyway, the only thing stopping me was the weighing up of if it was worth it? I use my iPad for everything and my pc is relegated to my work bench for reference photos and nothing else. However looking through cults3D there are some useful things that are starting to make me think again and then there are my own creations, I was waiting for OKB to release the warrior wheels and tracks, the wheels are done but no tracks and once I started adding up how many I needed, printing my own seems more lucrative in the long run.
  16. On second thoughts, I think I’m being a bit harsh, presumably you can print as many as you want once you have the file, which makes it cheaper than buying X number at €8 a time.
  17. Saw in echens’ thread what sort of printer you have, since fusion 360 have stopped supporting windows 8 I would have to upgrade my PC (which I don’t really use for anything other than photo storage at the moment), knew I was going to have to as you can’t run an STL or slicer program in it either, but if I want to get my warrior bit, I will have to bite the bullet.
  18. that’s always helpful 😂 keep waiting for my son to get one for his Warhammer stuff.
  19. Keep forgetting how expensive postage is from the continent these days, there’s a reason I only order from home or China.
  20. I have never used them myself ( only because I keep forgetting about them, when I need them) but from all accounts they are very good and replace the complete suspension.
  21. £13 for a file seems excessive, especially when you can buy printed ones with wheels for the ACE kit for €8, admittedly there is postage to add https://syndikateco.wixsite.com/my-site-1/product-page/suspension-tracks-for-centurion-nagmashot-from-ace-1-72
  22. Thought they were M2A2 ODS with and without ERA, after losses more ERA vehicles are showing up.
  23. Yes they all use the same track, it is only recently that the Israelis have moved on to a proprietary track on the Puma, although at 1/72 there is not that much difference. Rarely you can see a shot with “hush puppies” but the all metal tracks are the most common.
  24. One trick for getting your wheels square, you can pick them up dirt cheap on eBay, they used to be sold at Wilko cost around £5 but you need 2 simply take the square of one ruler and add to the other the opposite way round, you can then adjust the gap between them to fit what you want hey presto, instant straight wheels no matter the fit. I have to be careful with mine as I’ve lost one of the tightening nuts but it still works.
