Wonderful.
I admire all model makers who build unusual models.
Those who have the courage to depict aircraft of the so-called losers or states and people who are constantly being pilloried.
We live in one world.
Especially today we should perhaps pay more attention to our counterparts in order to stop the spiral of violence.
Even if it is hard. It is worth.
Happy modelling
Hello dov
Thank you, I am glad that you like the model.
I don't know how familiar you are with Iran's long and proud history as one of the most powerful and advanced cultures of it's time.
Just don't forget the fact that today's situation in Iran does not indicate the true culture and civilization of the Iranian nation.
These equipment entered Iran about 60 years ago when Iran was close to it's true self.
I hope that the day will come when all nations will live together in peace.

Indeed, the IIAF purchased 24 RHAW sets that arrived to Iran in February1978, but only four Iranian F-4Ds were upgraded before the revolution stopped this program. These aircraft were used early during the 1st Gulf War for a.o. bridge busting missions dropping LGBs, but these very risky missions were quickly discontinued to keep these precious aircraft operational.
68-6914 / 3-6717 was one of these upgraded Phantoms and was also credited with an Iraqi MiG-21 MF, shot down during September 1980.
This workhorse later effected hundreds of combat missions during the war against Iraq and was still in service during 2010, wearing the serial 3-6712.
Greetings

Beautiful model. As I recall, the Iranian F-4Ds didn't have the IR sensor housing on the bottom of the nose radome.
Thank you
From the first deliveries of Phantoms to Iran , there were some IR phantoms among them . Minimum of four IR housing equipped phantoms delivered in late 1960’s.

Hi dear folks
This is my latest finished model in 1/48 scale entered my Iranian Air Force family.
The kit is Eduard Good Evening Da Nang which is actually Academy plastics with some resin upgrades.
I assumed the first year of the war with Iraq in 1980’s when these Diesel phantoms were highly involved in deep attacks into enemy territory.
Iran was one the first customers of phantom, 32 aircraft were delivered to Iran between 1968 to 1970.
Most of them received important upgrades later in 1970’s such as laser-designators (top secret AVQ-9 Zot Box) and laser-guided bombs, as well as advanced RHAWS (Radar Homing and Warning System).
Many of these veterans are still in service!!
I used MRP and Mr.Hobby colors.
Decals come from Hi-decal.
M-117s are from Hasegawa weapon set.
Hope you all enjoy
Cheers

Hi mates
This time I built the model of a very special plane!
One of the unique planes in Iran air force history.
McDonnell Douglas RF-4E in 1/48 scale from Hasegawa.
RF-4s were used by 11th tactical reconnaissance squadron based in Tehran Mehrabad Air Base.
They played a key role during 8-year war with Iraq in several important army operations.
This model is dedicated to legendary reconnaissance squadron commander Col.Fereydoon Zolfaghari who lost his life in war.
Colors are from Tamiya and Mr.Hobby
Decals are from Modeller decal and Eduard stencils.
Ejection seat are from quick boost.
Hope you like
With regards
Barzin

Hello everyone
I was finally able to find some free time to build one of my favorite planes.
“ The Talon “
I fell in love with this white rocket since my childhood. From my dad’s photo albums during his UPT in Moody AFB Class 7008 , Georgia ,1969.
The Wolfpack kit is nice with very minor fit issues , It was an enjoyable build. (I did a mistake in putting over-wing roundel decal found out too late!!)
I used Mr.Hobby color and some extra decals was borrowed from Kinetic F-5 kit.
Hope you enjoy.Regards
Barzin

Stunning Cat and a very impressive line up. I have to admit I gave up on my Hasegawa Cat after one too many 'issues' although probably my fault If you ever want an easier Tomcat, complete with Iranian markings, treat yourself to the Tamiya kit. Rather pricy but a joy to build.
Thank you @simont382 I have both Tamiya & HB in stash and will be building them in near future 🙂

I'd love to see what it looks like written in Farsi - your script is so incredibly intricate, it is no wonder you are a superb modeler. I've no idea how Farsi would render here, but Cyrillic alphabet, which I "know" for my incredibly tiny knowledge of Russian language seems to be fine.
Charles, thank you very much.🌺🙏🏻
In Farsi script it’s been written like this: گربه ایرانی

I’m happy you liked this model and thanks for your kindness.
