  1. B-24 hot stuff completed 25 first - then five more. Then crashed into a mountain with the commander of the US forces in Europe onboard B-17 Hell’s angel was the first B-17 if memory serves correct I’m sure they did it twice!!!!! Mental I think Hot Stuff was kind of brushed under the carpet a bit, it was heading home for a publicity tour.

  3. Perfect, thanks Ian what would i make the The part out of?
  4. Started this kit a while back when I was long distance lorry driving as something to do on down time. life took over, stopped driving and moved house which lead to the undercarriage stabilisers on one side getting snapped. I tried revell for a new new set but they couldn’t help, although they were more help than I thought they’d be. Bit the bullet the other day and bought a “second hand” one from eBay relatively cheap compared to most that sell on there. so it’s now turned into a tandem build, one flying one with all the doors open loading. Ive now come against a problem, these are the first pics I’ve uploaded to Flickr and it took an age so I’ll get more to continue the build, it’ll take a while as I always seem to be busy now. The “new” kit is complete apart the bit under the canopy on one side. I need advice on how to rectify it. Filler, scratch build, mould from the other moulding seems sensible but what would I use? Any ideas to help me get them back on track would be appreciated Good one Bad one with the front missing, I’ve one side loose though👍🏻
  5. Lmao Anil! We did move out of Tadley for a while to Oakridge (frying pan and fire comes to mind! I’ll let you decide which way). worked for stagecoach, now work over in Oakley. I love Amazingstoke! unfortunately the green glow dragged us back!
  6. Romeo alpha Yankee That picture (as cool as it is) is the reason any larger planes I build are 1:144!
  7. Hi guys stumbled across your page whilst looking for replacement revell parts that got broken during a house move! I will respect your 100 post rule and not put what I’m looking for! Lol I play about with a lot of different scales and genres, just what I like really! 1:144 big aircraft (mainly price related and availability) 1:72 smaller aircraft 1:18 diecast cars, tastefully modifying. Mainly strip down and paint to my choice of colour! Ive has a quick look around the site and some of the work here is awesome, I can’t remember who’s it was but the a constellation that looks amazing! 1 post down 99 to go! Thanks Kelvin
