  1. Hi. There is a set of the Campagnolo alu wheels for the 275 GTB here: https://www.renaissance-models.com/ter/index.php/autos-toutes-echelles/echelle-1-24/accessoires/produits/238-roues-campagnolo Göran
  2. Great paint finnish and I think you made a good job on the underside too. Regards Göran
  3. One important thing is to use protection then airbrushing, doesn´t matter if using acrylics or enamels. For instant on the label of Tamiya acrylics it reads that the paint contains chemicals that can cause cancer! I´m airbrushing in my cellar so no problem with smell in my house. // Göran
  4. Yes it´s so, the conditions play a big role on photos. I also use acrylics and find Gunze and Tamiya very good to airbrush. I have bought some of Mr Paints RLM colours but I have not tried it yet. Then it comes to airbrushing the Humbrol enamels are hard to beat when using cellulose thinner. Göran
  5. Here is one with faded colours. Maybe the Gunze #52 olive drab will darken a bit when you paint clearcoat for the decals. The colours for the Draken were quite dark when the aircrafts were newpainted. I often see SAAB 105 SK60 painted in the same colours as Draken fly over my job and they are actually really dark on the sky. Regards Göran
  6. But the RLM 70 is blackgreen and the blue colour 438 M really is darkblue when new. The colours could be very faded on some aircrafts but it´s still bluegrey. I shall try to find some photos of the Draken outdoors. // Göran
  7. Hmm! Regarding the blue paint you really should have used the midnight blue as the instruction states, see photo below. I use Humbrol enamels and in the old days Humbrol had # 134 satin blue which was a very good match for the blue. The green seems way to light, here Humbrol had # 108 matt WW1 green to match. For the underside the old #87 matt steel grey a bit darkened is a good match. I have been modelling for more than forty years so I bought many Humbrol enamels for my coming Swedish projects. Regards Göran
  8. Found a video with my friends E-type! My friend sold it some years ago, it is the new owner that has recorded the video. // Göran
  9. Thanks Paul H. A friend of mine restored a 1967 series 1 FHC a long time ago and it had the subframe etc in body colour just as you describe I think it was in Carmen red. I was unsure of the early E types. I will search internet for interior trim colour when I have deceided what body colour I want to paint it in. I plan to build this kit in a near future but for the moment I have to many projects going on, both cars and aircraft kits. https://www.mckennasgarage.com/xke/jag4.htm // Göran
  10. Thanks for the tip smackers, I noticed there was not so many old paint numbers in this list. I found a website with a guy restoring a 1963 FHC and I shall follow his work from now on. Regards Göran
  11. Hi! I recently bought this kit and think that Heller has some strange suggestion for paints in the instruktion. For instance they tell you to paint the intake plenum red and the camshaftcovers and cylinder head in Humbrol # 56 matt aluminium, to my knowledge the cylinder head shall be painted in gold or? Further down the list the paint for the subframes and under the hood is #66 matt olive drab! By the way the dashboard is brown #9 and carpets in blue-grey #127. I know from googling that the Jaguar club has a list of the correct colours for each year but can I use it without logging in to the clubs website. Any thoughts on this? Göran
  12. Hi! What kind of Humbrol paint do you use, enamel or acrylic? I often use Humbrol enamel and when I airbrush I use cellulose thinner with a ratio of 1part paint 1part thinner. When I brush paint it I use turpentine to thin the paint. I have seldom any trouble with Humbrols enamel. Even I use acrylic paints nowadays mostly Gunze, Mr Hobby, Tamiya etc but I have not tried MRP paint yet. Regards Göran
  13. Hello! Your JA 37 turned out very nice. Best regard Göran
  14. Hi! In this picture you can see that the belly pylon is rather thin and with the tank fitted under the gunpod there´s not much ground clearence. The fuel tank is included in Maestro resin set 7275 but I think it would be an easy task to modify the kits tank to have four fins. Regarding the belly airbrakecolour I would say that it is copper-brass coloured rather than red. The upper airbrake is the same colour as the fuselage camouflage. Best luck with your build. Göran
  15. Hi! If you want to build an JA37 as accurate as possible please note that the inner rudder has two cylinders. Strangely Heller have not added this on the new sprue but on the drawing for the colour scheme it is visible. Also if you intend to use the belly tank there should be four fins on the tank. Regards Göran
