  8. Inspirational build😀. Looks amazing. Nice tidy model
  9. Thanks for this. It is a shame that this is a common problem with the kit but I find your comments and those of Frank quite reassuring -its not just me. I'm 5aking a break from this model for a while and working on something different. Your build looks great by the way 😀
  10. HELP I am struggling to get these pieces to fit. They will not line up and seem too small. I have tried fixing hem in different orders, but I cannot get the edges to meet. Considering using some filler but I think this would be a bad idea as I can't get the pieces aligned. Any thoughts?
  11. Interior Complete Now to cover it all up with the superstructure
  12. Sounds to me like you got a dodgy part mine was shaped like a trapezium so it fitted snugly.. Hope you managed to sort it!

  14. Thanks Dave - I've had a quick look, it will be really helpful (especially as Airfix instructions are open to interpretation and guesswork. 😊
  15. Stunning build - love the detail and precision - thanks for sharing it
  16. Props and fiddly platforms on the stern. Finally added these - a bit trick as the support struts for the platforms on the edges are not long enough - definitely a job for superglue!!
  17. Thanks Tony - it's great that your son is interested. You'll notice I am a slow modeller so it may be some time 🙂
  18. Hull painted Finally painted the hull. Painted the white line as the decals are tricky to line up. Little bit of bleeding under the masking tape. Need to take care in the future - took 4 coats of red gloss 6 coats blue and 4 white
  19. Finally got around to starting this It was tricky to work out where the demarcation is on the hull but here s my effort
  20. Thanks for the feedback I spent ages trying to work out how to fix the them. I know nothing about motorcycles so pure guesswork 😀
