Use Mr Surfacer 1200 or 1500 hundred, thinned with Mr Leveling Thinner to the same consistency as you would spray Mr Color paint. For me, that's quite thin and described here. It provides a very smooth finish. Here are some examples. Attack Squadron 1/48 F2F-1, resin Brengun 1/48 Cushman Model 39 scooter, resin and metal Amodel 1/144 CL-415, IP and metal Airfix 1/48 P-51D, IP

Looks great! Also looks that you got it as close to the photo as possible without significant surgery. -

This is all looking grand! I love the base--I'll need to find those videos. Good save on the tub! FWIW, my approach is to find the resin shards if I can, if not then plastic sheet. I then use medium CA as adhesive and filler. Some file work, say 2-, 4-, and then 6-cut, will get a perfectly smooth and quite robust finish. -
Cottage Industry Models used to have a lot of relevant kits, including quite a few ironclads and cannons. The old site is gone, but you might be able to find some of their kits online. Perhaps try https://www.agesofsail.com/, but I don't know anything more than what Google showed me.

That looks quite good! The layer of dust is excellent!

And besides, I don't see more than one of anything.

Looks like an attitude adjustment is in progress. Not clear "he" knows about it yet...

I agree -- the last two are Lysanders. As @Vulcanicity notes, that's the flap hinge. The last image shows the canopy pushed back as well as a bit of the fuselage interior.

That looks excellent! All the more if it fought you at every turn.

It looks excellent from here! -
Ooh, I loved his Normandy '44; I'll need to get this. I'm currently reading James Hornfisher; Neptune's Inferno at this moment.

I decided to try some UV glue. The Interwebs suggest this stuff is good. The nozzles are various sizes. We'll see how this stuff works...

That's quite excellent! I particularly like the metal work! Was the cowling turned or spun? -

That is a fabulous trio of Grumman aircraft!

Oh, that is stunning!

Aye, that's the life of a technology demonstrator. The key bits were the control system and the forward-swept composite wing.

O.M.G. That's quite a reference set!

That's look great the way this is coming together! The grime of the tank is excellent. -
There is a very small passage in the B part, Dental Paper Points are useful for cleaning it out, otherwise perhaps very carefully with a brass rod. What types of paint do you use? I normally use lacquers, enamels, and occasionally Tamiya, so I'd give the A and B parts a good overnight soak in hardware store cellulose (lacquer) thinner. Alternately, especially for water-based paints, some time in an ultrasonic cleaner could help.
