  1. Splendid work on this beauty. Looking forward to the tiger...
  2. still can't link photo's either way, by posting the link or by the "insert image from url". I can copy paste the links, but the insert into post button does nothing
  3. I don't know what it is, but all my scalemates links are dead on every forum... I can't even use the image from url function anymore with pictures from there..
  4. https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/6/0/5/1453605-24497-99-720.jpg
  5. Looking great... albeit missing a bit the same level of exquisite painting on the figures as with the rest of the diorama...
  6. Put out my vote also for this one... only a "small" part in the process... 😉
  7. Looks good so far. In the last pictures, the weathering looks more flat
  8. looking good so far, for the intakes like this, I tend to do a wash with dark grey, and then drybrush to highlight the grid structure.
  9. looking at the picture, it seems the cockpit is off centre... You are sure it is in the right position? The left sideconsole isn't nowhere under the border that should go over it when compared to the right side in the picture? Maybe that can solve is. Using a microsaw or the like, separate the hull halves and check the cockpit position
  10. Looking good. What is that seam above the instrument panel?
  11. Some progress at the landing gear Added some rings in paper for detailing: Then some connection points for swivels etc...: Also made a start on the nosegear. Rods where the wheels are mounted still need to be shortened Some further detailing, engraving and rivetting: Topside: Bottomside detail of the wing to be continued
  12. I can understand your feelings about it... looks nice, but a bit dull... I tend to stick to oil-paints diluted with white spirit (smells less then odourless thinner IMHO) and you can you different shades on the various colors)
  13. That's Kittyhawk... you get all the necessary parts to make every version... but you have figure the puzzle out for yourself looking at reference pictures... You can't have it all. otherwise, a lot of people would complain about very difficult or long instructions... But that paintjob looks cracking... totally awesome... I have some in 1/144 and it looks like 1 could turn into a very small copy of this beauty... if you don't mind...
