Hmm, not a huge fan of what ifs out if context. Personally I’d say for the purposes of this GB stick to configurations that were actually built. I’d propose that we have an explicit whif Gb for everything else.

Canopies masked and ready for primer. I’m going to hand paint the framing after camo as it’s so fine. I’ll do this alongside a the three frogs hopefully next week.- 6

Tail planes and canopy added.

Question: Do convertible planes, such as the Vought Kingfisher and Curtis Seagull count here?
I’d say yes.

Two very well packaged floats arrived in the post today. Thank you so much Adrian. Have to do some random acts of kindness to repay that karma
Im glad to say that aside from a bit of tiredness I haven’t felt this well in a long time. Just need to pace myself so I make a robust recovery.

If it’s any consolation two of my tigers got returned to sender because the duty got muxed up, I did eventually get them.

The ultimate Tiger I set? At €106 plus’s shipping it’s a bit rich for me but I’d really love to get one….. -
Decals from the Wyvern unusable I think but I’ll import them into Amadine and copy the artwork for a homebrewed set.
The new upper wing for the Wallace almost finished. Just need to score the ailerons, set the diehedral ( the cores are separated and pinned together with brass rod to take a bend) and drill for struts and rigging.
All three ready for filler. I’m going to build the shark with folded wings.

Seems like you’re making up for lost time!
Actually I’m enjoying my modelling again , which is great help in my convalescence.
For all that they are old and might not have the finesse of modern moldings, the three frogs are nice kits. I’m even pleasantly surprised at how accurate the Wallace is to plan.

All three fuselages zipped up. The wyvern needed beating into submission. I’ve also assembled the wyverns wings.

Canopies attached. Can’t seem to locate a part for the gondola so may need to scratch something- 8

A little filler. Using perfect plastic putty. Let it go off a bit…
Then ‘Sanded’ with a damp cloth. Just need to mask and fit the glazing and we’re ready for primer. I’ll probably do this and my three frogs in one airbrush session.

wing blanks for the Wallace
Painting the offices.

some more assembly and about ten minutes with a sanding stick.
And a rough coat of the first colour I picked up off the bench ( which as happened was RLM 02) not as bad as it looked might be able to get away with a little PPP to fill the gaps.- 7

I’ve decided to go Hungarian
Fuselage zipped up I’m going to use Krystal Klear for the small windows after painting.
wings and tail planes cleaned up. Fit isn’t great will probably need a bit of filler.- 10

all the best and I hope you get well soon.
Somewhat ironically I feel better than I have in a long time. Which probably means my heart condition has been brewing for a while.

You could try dipping. paint it black then dip the yellow then dip the nose in black.
Another technique I’ve seen is paint it black cut out a tape circle mask it then paint it yellow then a smaller tape circle for the black tip.
Or try Tamiya tape for curves.

Thanks for all the support guys. I’m filing this one under massive near miss.
As well as the stent and some new medications I have already completely changed my diet ( no alcohol, low fat, low salt, sugar and white carbohydrates smaller portions and no unconscious eating) and already managed to loose about six pounds and drastically lower my blood sugar levels.
Recovery and getting back to 13 stone ( from 15 and a bit stone 2 weeks ago , 17 stone before I got Lily my lurcher) are my highest priorities.
Owing to my ME I’m already semi retired, and I’ve a few years to go to retirement age. I’m lucky enough to be sound financially and our two part time jobs are enough to cover our costs. So other than the odd medical crisis I can’t complain.
