  1. Nice work with the metalling parts of the aircraft, you made it look as if it were real.
  2. @PhoenixII I´d like the cheap and cheerful one, because I´m not willing to pay above 40$ for a photography cube. I´m currently using two large sheets of paper, glued with bluetac to the walls, and usually my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone (I used a Panasonic Leica of 14 megapixels today, it´s fairly old). What would you recommend for a cheap photography area?
  3. How are you going to handle the wings if they don´t have connecting tabs?
  4. Decals are from Cartograf, that makes the kit even better! I´m going to buy 20!
  5. Which photos are better, the ones in the original post or these ones?
  6. Many thanks to all those who answered, really appreciate it. @Boman I guess I´ll do as you say and buy both, my wallet won´t be happy about that.
  7. I´m travelling to Europe in a couple of months, and I have the opportunity to buy either Italeri´s Nesher/Dagger or Kinetic´s Mirage IIIE/O/R/RD/EE/EA. Since the Italeri one has the decals I want (and it´s cheaper), what are your opinions on that kit regarding its fit and the need to fill and sand seams (and other type of details you guys may have). The Kinetic is, as stated, an option, but it doesn´t have the decals I want and it´s twice the price of the Italeri one. Good night, read you tomorrow!
  8. The light I used was warm white, I´ll change it for a light bulb that gives a cool white light. I´ll try to find and dust my old camera, because I´ve been shooting with my phone. Thanks for the help everyone!
  9. Looks really cool for an absence of 18 years, congrats!
  10. Looks good, I may build Hasegawa´s model if I ever find it in 1:48, 72nd is too small for me now. How did you get those nicely lit photos?
  11. I don´t know if the Red 2 of now is painted in its original camouflage, but if it was, the you should paint your Me 262 in RLM 82 (photo taken by me).
  12. Here´re the photos of my latest model, Revell´s 20 year old Me 262A-1a. The model had an overall good fit, except for the front nose piece, which curves up and the canopy, which has a terrible fit (worst fitting part in the entire kit). I added a 30 gram lead weight in the frontal bulkhead of the cockpit, and discovered after attaching the wheels that it was just enough to keep the model from being a tail seater (I bought some 10 gram weight that I´ll cut in half and glue them as forward as possible for the next time). I´m also accepting advice regarding how I should take my photos.
  13. I´m trying to photograph a model with very dark colours, what do you guys recommend to end up with a well lit photo? Thanks.
  14. Here it says to contact your local seller: https://www.tamiya.com/english/customer/cs_top.htm
  15. What are your recommendations for taking well lit photos for my models? What type of background, what type of lighting, etc...
  16. The aircraft was clear coated with Revell Clear varnish prior to taking the photos.
  17. 1:32 modellers are really having a party with all of the subjects that have been released in the past 2 years (or more).
  18. Not this one, at today´s dollar price, I payed 68$ to a guy on Facebook, minus shipping.

  20. Empenage camouflage painted, undersides painted, and engine intakes painted in aluminium too, photos maybe tomorrow.
  21. On the final paint stages, the RLM 81/82 unions were sanded with a 2000 grit sandpaper, the only thing remaining is to paint the undersides with light blue and the engine intakes in aluminium.
  22. Having built three of them and with two more on the stash, I wanted to know if someone else has had issues fitting the gear doors to the struts because of their length, because when the time comes, I have to trim both doors to get them to fit, am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
  23. I can give you the links I´ve bookmarked if you want to, all of them are in Spanish, but the pictures speak for themself. Same but backwards, I don´t see myself making a Harrier, and I´ve been three times in the UK.
