  1. Would a new tool A-4B sell well if Airfix did it? It would be successful in the US and Argentina. Edit: I mean a new 1:48 A-4B.
  2. I do love some Luft 46 in the morning, you've made a nice looking model out of a very basic kit.
  3. Special Hobby has a nice customer service, send them an email with your suggestion.
  4. I'd love to have a Tamiya Spit or Bf 109 right now, they look like fun builds.
  5. I knew someone else had to have this issue with Airfix's Canberra, it's also present on their B.20 model. Last time I built the model, I used tube glue and let it set for the night before adding weight to the model, it became really sturdy after that, and was able to withstand over 70g of lead weight.
  6. In that case, much luck on this build, those two models look pretty, pretty sure the Spit I will come out alright.
  7. You may be more skilled than and pull it off in the end.
  8. I always think the same, but decalling comes really fast, especially for 48 fighters (as long as they aren't Eduard Profipack models). Proof are the photos above. You should also pair the Spit with a Bf 109E too in the future.
  9. Tip for the future decalling, if you're going to use the kit's decals, make sure to soak them in hot water.
  10. That's true, I just learned yesterday that Airfix's 1:48 Bf 109 isn't done to have the flaps and slats in the up position, modeling is trial and error basically.
  11. Don't want to be rude, but I actually liked the earlier camouflage more, other than that, the aircraft is looking great, I can't wait to see on its landing gear.
  12. Best part of modelling is when the aircraft is on its wheels, yours is coming along nicely.
  13. Where was the BoB exhibition moved to then?
  14. Some news: Warped fuselage halves without locating holes, ill fitting instrument panel, and vague piece location later, I've decided to not even bother with the kit and start an Airfix Bf 109E in 1:48. I'll keep the pieces and decals (I even received a spare sheet from Revell after I found the originals were damaged).
  15. @Mike the conversion is still availble from Ultracast's website: https://www.ultracast.ca/product-p/mdc-mrbc32001.htm
  16. Looks great with all that orange, great job!
  17. I didn't find anything online, but perhaps your could ask someone who has Hobby Boss's Me 262A-2a/U2 boxing for the measures of the nose area, and then upscale it to 1:32.
  18. I remember the last time I visited the museum, the Battle of Britain area was closed for renovations, I assume it's been reopened.
  19. A new option would be to buy a fourth Mustang and use the metal exhaust on that one, trying to fit them from the inside, and use the plastic ones on the already built one. What do you mean the base of the metallic exhausts is hollow? Shouldn't it be a solid piece?
  20. I hope the Dagger variant includes the museum preserved C-432, I saw it up close.
  21. @Admiral Puff thank you for telling me, I'll be sure to remove those lugs before I glue the piece. Regarding the bombracks, I read an article on Modeling Madness which showed them having ejector pin marks, so I guess that's why Revell wants me to file them. @Bonhoff thank you for pasting your build, I'll use it to compare mine and guide myself.
