  1. I'll believe we're getting the F-16s when I read it from an official source, I.E from Argentina's (official) Defense Twitter account.
  2. @Chuck1945 @dnl42 thanks guys! I'll try to get a bottle of Set. Always thought water would be enough when positioning decals.
  3. Good night guys! Has anyone worked with Amusing Hobby's decals? I want to know if they can slide easily into position, or if they stick as soon as they hit the surface (the latter issue has happened with Eduard and ICM decals). Thanks!
  4. @Mike do you remember if the decals slid easily on the surface? Or do they stick wherever they want?
  5. The FROG from days gone by?
  6. They must have used the data from the 1:32 versions and scaled them up to 1:24. I wonder if these also follow the wrong bombs from the Ju 87B-2 (Trumpeter included the SC1000 instead of the SC250). The bomb racks on the Ju 87B were the D variant ones.
  7. Man, I was so tired yesterday that didn't think on downloading an MS Paint app. I'm just doing what you did. Great success!
  8. It is. However, I suffer from a lack of imagination when it comes to German whiffery. SonI try to base myself in something real, such as the Bf 110G-4s.
  9. It has to be a nightfighter. I'm going what if, but I want to base it on an IRL machine.
  10. Never heard of those RLM shades. Don't you mean 75, 76, 77 and 78? Don't have the adequate decals for that time frame.
  11. Saw that one. It's even mentioned the squiggles are in the blue-green RLM 76 (or 84). Still fairly boring for me. Isn't that a desert camouflage? I'm after a what if nightfighter one.
  12. Hi guys! I plan (if everything goes smoothly) on getting Tamiya's He 219A-7. Box schemes are fairly dull, black over light blue or the latter colour covering the entire aircraft. Since the He 219, for me, borders Luft 46, I would like to get some inspiration for a whiffer camouflage. I was thinking on RLM 02 on the lower surfaces, making the aircraft some sort of prototype, with the top sides painted in the regular splinter pattern of RLM 74 and 75 the Bf 110 have. Another idea was of a splinter of RLM 81 and 82 over 76. I also though on painting the wings in a combination of RLM 76 with 75 and, last but not list, a camou of RLM 77 and 81. However, if any of you have a website where I can input the airframe and colours so I can make my own mixes, I'd be very grateful. Thanks!
  13. Question is, will it have extended slats and dropped flaps? Or will HB follow their Bf 109F and G design for a closed wing?
  14. Hooefully HB will decide to release the Ta 152H-0 and H-1 in the future. They have the fuselage and engine, maybe the only new parts to tool would be the wings.
  15. Hi guys! Long time no see. I think my last post here was in late 2022/early 2023. Here's my most recent completion, Hasegawa's A-4E PT21 as the FAA Douglas A-4C C-322. Colours used were Revell Aqua 371 Satin Light Grey, 66 Olive Grey, 15 Matt Yellow and 76 Light Grey. Decals came from an Aerocalcas sheet. These decals are thin and prone to sticking (you can see the IV Air Brigade decal on the right side crooked because of that).
  16. I used Revell Aqua 79 Grey Blue for the EDSG. Here's the link to my build on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/modelmakers/s/8XxO8pUQc2
  17. Any idea if we'll get an F.4 in 48th? The only F.4 in that scale was from Classic Airframes, and 3d printed models aren't really that good.
  18. Have you ever wanted to make your own custom masks for your Luftwaffe aircraft, but your attempts ended up as utter failure/markings were too difficult to draw by hand? Well, don't dispair anymore! I found this link which allows you to download to your pc the exact letter/number font for Luftwaffe aircraft! Simply download the file, open the RAR and install and font, it'll install itself on the font list on Word. You have numbers, letters, and two types of Balkan Crosses! Once you open Word and select the font, "Blockschrift fur Flugzeug", you'll be able to print the desired codes, cut them and make your own masks. https://fonts2u.com/blockschrift-fr-flugzeuge.font
  19. That does it then, I'll go for an F-8 numbered either Red 1 or Red 3. I know it may not have been the correct colour after what you shared, but it'll make for a colourful plane and have a stark contrast against the 1941 camouflage and white camouflage. Thanks!
  20. Hello everyone! After being away from the site for more or less a month, I decided to upload the photos of my 3d printed Skyhawk here. I didn't do so earlier because I was too lazy to open Imgur and copy and paste the image links to BM. Hope you like the plane!
  21. After not visiting the site for a month, I decided to upload the finished photos of the Skyhawk. I was too lazy to open Imgur and upload the pics to the RFI section
  22. @G.R.Morrison thanks for the response. I assume then there weren't any Fs with other numbers aside from 2 and 9 under service with I/SG2, is that correct? If so, I'll direct my attention to an SG4 machine in Italy, which I have photos of.
  23. Hello everyone, it's been a while. Does anyone know if I/SG2 had Fw 190F-8s numbered Red (or Blue) 1 and 3? There're two know photos of Red (or Blue) 2 and 9, so I assume the former was the case. Cheers!
