  1. that looks lie a BIG box full of Plastic ! Ok I'm in , I gave up on the Trumpter super bug a year or so ago , but this one looks a LOT more enticing , and a lot lower price , I'm willing to bet - yup I'm in !
  2. I build 1/32nd only , but these days I limit myself to sub £100 kits, which sort of limits my choices, I'd love this kit , but I' afraid I'm just going to pass!
  3. A video interview with the head of Mobius re the discover... Mobius Discovery Interview
  4. The problem with the Revell kit is simple one of age , the original kit was released nearly 20 years ago, and the RAF boxing of the kit now bears little resemblance to operational aircraft , add in non existent intake trunking , simplified undercarriage bays , and a weapons load stuck in the 1990s , and the logic behind italeri's release makes perfect sense!
  5. Looks like it time to give the venerable Revell huey a decent viking funeral at last .. !
  6. Is it just my me that thinks Russian Anti Aircraft systems look like something out of Thunderbirds?
  7. what ever the merits or otherwise of the kit, I think most of us would agree that if Revell had manned up and issues a new tooled TFX Beaufighter in 1/32 , the praise here would have universal..., not the muted cheers the 48th scale model has received... Ah well..
  8. And my First Aircraft build of 2017 just made itself known .. looks an excellent kit..
  9. To-day is officially a Very good day .. and those 32nd Aircrew/Ground crew as well - Excellent!
  10. "Isn't Good" - no just dated, at best the Revell Tornaods represent the IDS/GR1 Tornados as they were about 10-15 years ago, A Lot has happened to the fleet , especially in the UK in that period, none of which is reflected in the kit. Its also has very simplified Intakes, soft lower fuselage surface detailing , and basic U/C bays/cockpit , its high time there was a 32nd tornado to match the options available in Revell's 48th scale kit I'd love a modern RAF GR4 in 32nd with the option of a weapons fit that had Accurate Paveway 3LGB bombs, Brimstone missiles, Raptor pods etc etc .. there are only so many Gulf War 1 Gr1s you can build without either running out of room and/or enthusiasm!
  11. I've been trying to cut back my modelling spend, but this is a Must have .. the hard part is going to be holding myself to only one , since both the A and G models appeal...!
  12. But which shade .. Grey is such an Interesting colour don't you think.....
  13. From what I can see it looks to be a decent effort so far , and its a modern aircraft in 32nd so of course I'll be buying it! Oh I rather like the design of the F-35
  14. very much the right scale, for me , and the small band of die hard 1/32 builders ANY new British twin is a blessing .. there are new excellent Beaufighters in every scale but 32nd .. so if this is a real kit , then 2017 will be starting off perfectly A strike wing TFX would look soooo good next to a 14r3 Sq Mosquit0
  15. I applaud Revell for Producing a IX , but I'd have been a LOT happier if they'd simply made the changes necessary to produce a VC.. RAAF/Malta spits without the palaver of replacing wings.. Still at least it means I have a use for some of the "Aces of the Empire" markings without going bankrupt using Tamiya kits
  16. With a choice of markings like this how on earth am I going to restrict myself to only a couple of these kits..!!!
  17. I've know about this for a while now, and to have pictures of it , proving that its on its way is VERY good news!..
  18. Agreed.. although the Trumpeter one builds reasonably well ... Assuming you can find one ... But yes a Hasagawa Razorback would be nice!
  19. I guessed it would have been mentioned already , Please feel free to ignore the post , having been married for 26 years , I'm used to being ignored!
  20. Having Built 2 Hasagawa P-47s already , and seeing as how I've got another in the stash , along with the wolf markings, So despite it being in my scale , I think I'll give this one a miss, despite how good the original kit actually is
  21. I'm not a regular here so I don't know if this monster has been discussed here , but the 1/48th U-boat has just turned up in Australia.. I'll pass , but man the opportunities for detailing really boggle the mind 1/48th U-Boat
  22. Well £36.99 is a decent price.. So anyone want a Trumpter ME 262b-1 kit... ?
