Jumblies had it on their site as dispatched on 30/4-21 but see that has now slipped until 30/6/21 Probably be in time for Telford!! If it's on https://www.jumbliesmodels.com/plastic-kits-c3/aviation-kits-c4/airfix-1-72-avro-vulcan-b-2-aircraft-model-kit-p16755 -
They also have to cope with Amazon overspill which becomes a priority. Our postie is not happy, they are short staffed due to illness and "illness" and some days they do parcels only as that is all they can cope with

That's worth a try, I have never used it before so will give it a go on the next one. Wants to be done before body goes on so I darn't risk it on this one Thanks for idea And thanks for the other kind comments and likes, much appreciated -
My latest effort, up to or should I say down to my usual standard Typical Heller car needs a bit of care, but finishes quite a nice model No doubt there are those that could make a better job than me I had a few problems building it, biggest was the body or chassis were twisted so all wheels didn't touch. I managed to correct that, but didn't notice that the radiator is not square with body and it wasn't easily moved as it goes on before body goes on chassis So bonnets not the best fit, but it is one of those that I would end up doing more harm than good if I tried to correct it although there is one photo below that was before a readjustment The other problem is despite being extra careful and coating with Klear I managed to damage decal on left hand door. I need to source a better colour to try to blend it once shops reopen. Few other muck ups but it again it's best left as it is and try and learn from my mistakes And before anybody says I started this long before Heller GB started so wasn't eligible One of the difficulties I had and gave up on is the chrome strips on running board. They are so close there is about five or six of them I just couldn't make them look ok. The first inch or so was fine but from the they looked awful and just looked as if running board was silver. So if anybody has any ideas for the next one I would appreciate it Talking of which the last photo is with my Citreon Normande which was in Heller GB along with lots of fantastic builds, well worth a look if you haven't already peaked So to pictures

Also depends on where you are viewing it. Not always easy to write when you are phone but easy to like And I quite often view at work and can't write a comment If somebody has liked it at least they are acknowledging they have looked at it But I also agree with the comment regarding acknowledgement of information I'm sad enough to thank people when they send me an E mail with information and that is unusual

Just look forward to the day they get into Warhammer "Dad will you paint this for me, and this and this" Gets you lots of practice for when you do restart😀

Just about all the fake invoices and parcel queries that I receive at work are not addressed to me at start of E Mail. Dear customer or some other ambiguous beginning. They don't have the sense to personalise the E Mail just send the same one to millions of E mails addresses. Mind you we have had one large company who sends me an invoice with just "please find invoice attached". I have to check E mail address to make sure where it comes from. When we didn't pay them for a while I spoke to their accounts department and asked them if they would open an E Mail like that and of course no was the answer. But they still send me the same

Jumblies have on their site that it will be dipatched on 30/04/21 https://www.jumbliesmodels.com/plastic-kits-c3/aviation-kits-c4/airfix-1-72-avro-vulcan-b-2-aircraft-model-kit-p16755 -
My first was the Airfix Vulcan in i think 1982 or1983 I went to Howes model shop in Oxford the first week it was released and was told they only had one left and it was on display in the window I'll wait while you get it was my reply. I had no interest in aircraft until I went to Brize Norton Airshow and saw a vulcan being thrown around the sky by, I think, Joe L'Estrange, not 100% sure about that, in a stunning display I was hooked and although I had no experience on aircraft models, only cars and bikes, I had to have one Still got it and its rubbish but I loved it and had it on display for years

It looks a cracking model to me, well done You sound just like me and always know how to do a second one properly having found all the problems, hindsight is a wonderful thing😀
