  1. Hello! This is my most recent project. Nothing else to add, or praise, regarding this wonderful kit. It is a pleasure to build and everything works just fine, even the decals. Except for the roundels, that I've painted using masks, all others reacted really well to Gunze's Mr Softer. This particular kit represented a Spit in 1940, so perhaps I may have weathered it a little bit too much, for they should have been relatively new then. But, it's done! Hope you'll enjoy! Cheers!
  2. Fantastic build! I, too, have one here and still intimidated by it. Yours is going to be the one to try to replicate.
  3. Speechless here. What a fantastic build and weathering.BZ
  4. Thank you! You're right, the kit has no option for a center line rack, which was the most common configuration. So, I took one of the wing bomb racks (for 4 bombs only) and added two more fins, cut from the other wing rack, and glued them in the former, so now I have a single 6 bombs rack. Took one of their pylons, cut it along the longitudinal axle, to make it narrower, and glued with superglue along the centerline. The original centerline rack would be slightly different, but it is mostly hidden by the bombs.
  5. Well Sir, thank you very much! I'll save that stamp right here.
  6. Thank you! An SEA Phantom is in my wish list. I've done one in US Navy standard, but grey is really boring.
  7. Thank you! And I agree with you, I always try to keep the colors as close as possible as those of the actual birds. Fortunately, in the actual model with natural light they are not that emphasized. I guess the automatic camera enhancement and mini studio box lighting may have given that impression. But, I'll pay attention next time. Thank you! Thank you!
