Does anybody ever see in thier local model shops old stocks of AMT,MPC and Revell hot rod car kits im finding it hard to find certain kits. They dont seem to come up on Ebay and postage from the States is too expensive. Any help would be appreciated.. Cheers Steve

Im now returning to car modelling after about 10 years build aircraft. It seems that its a minority thing. Ive put an ad in the wantts section for some parts from the older AMT kits with no look so I thought it may be better asking direct to the forum. Im looking for a glat head engine and some suspension parts to build a rat rod any help wpuld be gladly recieved. Thanks Steve

Hi Stewart ModelArt are alive and well, Jean Pierre is a friend of mine he lives a few miles from me. He has a web site but not sure of the address. I will give him a ring, not too long ago Heller produced him the kits to go with his decals.. Leave it with me.. Cheers Steve

ModelArt Decals do decals for a camo version which I am going to build when I get around to it..

I use Lifecolour and it dries with a really good matt finish, ive also used Railmatch this dried with nice and matt..

What about Fw190D or Fw190F, the D is going to be my next project as im building a range of captured aircraft.. Youve also got P47 and early P51s.. Cheers Steve
