  1. Beautiful build Seamus. Love the panel line color - looks very realistic.
  2. Superb weathering. The engines look amazing. One of the best looking Flankers I've ever seen.
  3. Great looking build. Your airbrushing is fantastic. Did you freehand the colors or did you use Blu-Tack?
  4. Hello Trenton guy, What thinner do you use to thin Mr. Color? Also, what thinner do you use to clean up? Thanks!
  5. Excellent build - love the Attacker!
  6. Thank you Fritag for the build report. The fact that you flew it makes it even more interesting.
  7. Absolutely stunning work Fritag. CMR kits are truly amazing. The workmanship is superb. Thank you for sharing. What Chipmunk kit is that? Do you have a build thread of it?
  8. Definitely the best looking S-3 I've ever seen. I've always thought that Hasegawa and Fujimi kits were way ahead of their time. You are one of my favorite builders and I hope you continue to post your latest work here on Britmodeller. I always enjoy seeing your latest masterpiece. Your articles in Airfix Model World are always top-notch.
  9. What a beautiful build! Love seeing these Golden Age airliners.
  10. That is a great looking pair. What did you use for rigging? Looks perfect.
  11. That is great news dekenba. You seem to have an inside track on what's going on at WNW, so I am crossing my fingers that you are correct. WNW reappearing under a different arrangement would be the best outcome for us modelers. Thank you Peter for your great products!
  12. This is an interesting article from 2016 showing the close relationship between Weta and WNW: https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/83426192/weta-workshop-partners-with-peter-jacksons-wingnut-wings It's going to be fascinating to see who gets the molds. Perhaps Peter will form a new company and repurchase the assets. I feel so sorry for everyone at Wingnut. It was a class organization that set new standards.
  13. Another beauty Libor. The tow bar turned out very nice. Looks like the Gunze Super Metallics produce a very good finish. Did you buff the metal?
  14. Hello Libor, What did you use for the long antenna wire? Looks very realistic. Also, what colors did you use? Mr Color lacquers? I've heard that the Mr. Hobby Aqueous range is being discontinued and replaced by their Acrysion line. Do you know if this is true? Thanks!
  15. Absolutely stunning Fuad. The cockpit area is amazing.
  16. Beautiful result sir. That freehand airbrush work turned out very nice. Are all three of the upper colors Vallejo Model Air? They look really accurate.
  17. Beautiful build Keith. What did you use for the blue?
  18. Couldn't agree with you more Rabbit Leader. Let the mail order businesses continue on - there is no reason to shut them down. We're having the same situation starting to develop here in California. A lot of these government "leaders" have been in academia and government for most of their lives and have no clue how tough it is to run a business. Sweden has taken the complete opposite approach, so it will be interesting to see how their model ends up working.
  19. As mentioned earlier, these are both not good developments:: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=12306788 and go here and scroll down to the post made by Dekenba1: https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=10978.msg202360%3Bboardseen&fbclid=IwAR24Ux_vHnvcOBkqoiq4-Mt1WaJ-o_DSwPXBxjl2YbtYgf3Vz7X4QkE193U#new
  20. This is all very strange. If the Richard Alexander comments are legitimate, then it looks grim. But if your company has been on the rocks, why would you invest so much money in the Lancaster project which has gone on for several years? And why would you release a Gotha G.1 when there are so many other popular subjects that have yet to be done in 1/32 that would have sold far better? My only guess is that Peter Jackson's investments and cash flow have completely collapsed due to the Coronavirus situation and it was these investments that kept his hobbies - such as Wingnut Wings among others - going. I really hope not, so lets hope the announcement on the Wingnut Wings website is accurate and that this is all only temporary. It would be a tragic loss for modelers if they went out of business. I really hope Eduard, which is my favorite company, gets through this ok.
  21. Absolutely stunning build Woody. One of the best Lancasters I've ever seen.
