  1. Hi John yes me too... but maybe one may come soon in 1/35? Now where was that box art for a railway wagon, with an Austin AC on the previous wagon? Hmm. cheers Andrew
  2. Looks great 😊 so what’s next as they all are saying 😆 cheers Andrew
  3. Hi Andy That's fantastic as always! Loving it's 'look'. Cheers Andrew
  4. Your model is possible to sum up in one word: PERFECT! well done, I love it Cheers Andrew
  5. Good afternoon to you what a great little model. I scratch built one in 1/35 scale, the thread is around somewhere; I absolutely love the nutty vehicles that were produced around this time and concentrate on them as model projects. I recently finished (I think they're finished, when do we really know?) 3 more scratch builds. One of a Pierce-Arrow armoured lorry with anti-aircraft gun, a chain driven Wolseley-Peerless armoured truck also with AA armament, and lastly another Pierce-Arrow armoured truck with revolving turret housing a sort of 3 or 6 pounder gun. I will post them in Ready for Inspection when I get around to uploading photos etc. All in all, I am delighted to see another modeller who is interested in this period as we seem to be in the minority on this forum. Keep up the great work! Cheers Andrew
  6. Nice. Got the bus for Christmas, this lorry will certainly be added!
  7. Duh, just realised I’ve been looking at the wrong batch number. They do have them! Thanks again for pushing me in the right direction. Cheers and happy new year.
  8. Thanks very much. I’ve tried Black Lion, they don’t have any as far as l can see. I’ll try the other company you mentioned. Thanks again for your time. cheers Andrew
  9. Good morning everyone; I hope you've all enjoyed a good Christmas break. I have a question about the above company… well I say question, but more… well I don't know... HOWEVER I have tried to contact them in Russia via their contact button and via email, and also by leaving messages on their Facebook page regards the purchase of transfers for the supply tank Dodo. But I never get any replies. Anyone else had problems? Alternatively, does anyone know where I can buy these or does anyone have extra sets they want to sell? 1/35 scale. Thank you Andrew
  10. for white rubber tyres, I have used Tamiya's Deck Tan with great results. Especially when dirtied after.
  11. Ooo l really hope they do. My thoughts have been along the lines of more scratch building, so a kit would be far less time consuming!
  12. Hi DA. Glad things are slowly working out even if you still have the inconvenience of work taking valuable time and energy / as do I, which is most inconvenient. I know what you mean about losing the itch.I still stick with WWI but although I have aero plane kits ready to build, I have absolutely zero enthusiasm for them. Vehicles are still my passion, at least for now. Take care.
  13. oh yes, very much looking forward to building this and probably more than one variant. I did build an Airfix one in 2018, adding more detail and using real wood etc... but this kit looks really good. And yes, I like the idea of further versions ie pigeon loft, lorry, etc being produced as DA mentions.
  14. I bought this last week too. Its in the stash, and due to a current 3 scratch builds being finished, plus an OOB on the go, I wont get around to it very soon. So yes please. it would be great to see your build photos. Danke, mein Herr.
  15. oh yes please an Austin in 1:35 would be most welcome. It would save me having to attempt a scratch build...
  16. what about a cutaway model ----------
  17. Another fantastic build, Andy! Top marks and then some. cheers Andrew
  18. How’s it going, DA? Are you ok? I read that you were busy, but the lack of progress in WIP concerns me. I hope you’re ok. cheers Andrew
  19. Very nice modelling; and the subject is fascinating. I look forward to seeing progress! Enjoy! Cheers Andrew
  20. Beautiful, and very tidy modelling going on here! Your PE work if fantastic. cheers Andrew
  21. I doubt very much that l will be disappointed, DA. Perhaps the only disappointment will come from me comparing my efforts to yours 😩 cheers Andrew
  22. Hi Nick, the font, or not the font... that is the question 😊 l agree that much could have been hand painted and it isn’t unusual to see vehicles marked up in chalk or similar. So much is left to speculation - let us not get started on colours!! 😆 on my mind l have ended up just doing what looks right and what pleases me (me, me, it’s all about me) l suppose one could cut masks if one were able, but this one ‘ere isn’t! Far beyond my skills atm. But thank you for the letraset idea l may well use it in the future. cheers Andrew
  23. Thanks guys! I looked at Hannants but couldn’t find anything previously... it looks like they’re perfect for the job 😊
