  1. Nice work on those exhaust pipes! Chris
  2. Excrement is an eventuality. happens! Chris
  3. After you click " Insert Image From URL ", copy the contents in the box, then post that directly into the Reply/Topic box. I have found that this is what I have to do in order to post links from this forum and other sources. Chris
  4. Yes. These were added to Canadian Bolingbrokes as a source of additional heat for crew and carburetors. There are other variations and on other aircraft. Chris
  5. Too bad Airfix used a restored Canadian-built Fairchild Bolingbroke to make this model instead of a real Blenheim. Chris
  6. Do not use the " Insert Image " to post Flickr pictures. There should be an option on Flickr for BBCode. Use that and post it directly into the Response/Reply box. Like this: M&D 22 001xx by Chris Eldridge, on Flickr Now, see that bit of code to the right of the image? You can either remove that bit before posting, or just leave it as is. Chris
  7. Out our kitchen window, on January 27, about 08;40. Northeast Alberta, Canada. Chris
  8. Perhaps you should have studied photos of real Bristol Hercules engines, to see what they looked like and how they were wired? Chris
  9. You should re-paint the engines central gear casings black, too. These engines were imported from Bristols, in England and would have had black gear casings. Chris
  10. I've got these 3 photos, of Buffalos on Martinique, scanned from one of the old National Geographics that I have: Chris
  11. from a few provinces to your westward! Chris
  12. My TSS paints. I haven't used these on a model yet. Chris
  13. So, are we talking Allison-powered or Merlin-powered? Chris
  14. I've pulled these two kits from my stash and compared the wing spans. They are almost identical! No more than 1 mm difference. Chris
  15. I wonder if a Junkers W.34 might be a better starting point? https://www.super-hobby.com/catalog/Aircrafts.html?search_attr_1=1%3A72&search_keywords=Junkers+W.34&search_buy_mode=full_offer&search_back_url=%2Fcatalog%2FAircrafts.html%3Fsearch_attr_1%3D1%3A72%26search_keywords%3DJunkers%2BW.34 Chris
  16. Looking great! Just a note: the engine central gear casings should be a semi-matt black, not the blue-grey you have used. That is an American colour they used on their radials. Bristol painted their engines black from the early 1930's until sometime after WW2. Chris
  17. Ah! Well, as they are diesel, it may be fuel injected. I didn't look to see what the engine type was. My bad! Chris
  18. I'm fairly certain those wouldn't be fuel injection pipes. Not many British engines, not even aircraft engines were full fuel injected at that times. Never on a bog-standard upright 6-cylinder truck engine! Chris
