If I have a chance, I'll look through my references today. We're in the midst of getting new flooring installed in the house and there's a bit of upheaval going on. Chris

Well done, Sir! I always like to see Canadian content. It's the law here. Chris -
Oh, I can get lots, just that now I have to buy it. No more " resource reallocation " from the plant. Chris

I'm a big fan of Locktite as I used to be able to " acquire " it at work. However, since I retired over a year ago, my source and my last bottle have dried up. Chris

A real beauty. I always like to see Canadian content. My only issue is that none of the RCAF Typhoon squadrons user RP's, only bombs. I may be wrong here and if I am, I'm sure someone who knows more will be along shortly. Chris

A few Russian planes built from Russian kits

I just did an on-line check and both our R-5 kits are the same. Yours is the original issuer, according to Scalemates. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/145695-encore-models-1016-polikarpov-r-5 Chris -

I have a Yak-6 and an R-5 kit that look like those. The Encore is a copy of some Eastern European kit and I don't know who made the Yak. Chris -

As I understand it, there wasn't any direct connection between the front and rear crew. That's why the RAF requested a wider fuselage, thereby giving us the Baltimore. Chris- 113 replies

Just because I can and in case someone else would like to see it, this is the Jiminy Cricket as it is the Warpaint No. 48 Westland Lysander. Chris -

Bristol Beaufort Mk I - Special Hobby 1/72
dogsbody replied to CedB's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
I've often wondered about the inside of the cowling of Bristol powered models. Should the interior colour ( grey-green ) be painted right up to the lip, or would the collector ring colour be visible? Chris- 620 replies

Bristol Beaufort Mk I - Special Hobby 1/72
dogsbody replied to CedB's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
Looking good, Ced. If asked, I'd say that the collector needs to be bigger, i.e., further back along the cowl. It should take up more of the front of the cowling. I realize that it may be the shape of the kit parts that gives it that look. I don't have access to my Special Hobby kit at the moment, so I can't really comment on the shape. Chris- 620 replies
