  1. So finally i got the LIFECOLORS RGA set Sorry the names are only in Italian. But "mimetico" it's simply "mimetic", "Nocciola" stands for "Hazelnut", "Verde" for "green" , "Giallo" it's "Yellow" and "Azzurro" it's for "light blue" I hope the have all the colors i need now
  2. I'm glad you enjoy Personally I find the P-40 a real beauty...that huge radiator under the nose gives the plane a unique and somehow aggressive look Coming soon...Yak-9
  3. So what's the point on making a REG set if the colors are wrong?
  4. Hi all, I'm waiting for the LIFECOLOR Regia Aeronautica set, but there is the Italeri one:
  5. Ok that's is simply stunning! The weathering is just amazing! I really have to try the hairspray technique! GREAT JOB!
  6. Thanks for your help! So basically i put my airbrush together but in the wrong way. Actually that's whaht I do: firsti i put the nozzle on place, then i insert the needle from behind. I keep the nozzle in place with my fingers untill i see the point of the needle just out from the nozzle end. I then fix the needle, close the back part and then reinstall the nozzle cap. I do this way to be sure taht the point of the needle is correct. But if I understand correctly i need to put the nozzle cap before put in place the needle again. In a sort of way it's the nozzle cap that put the nozzle in the right place and fix it. And only when the nozzle cap is closed i have tu put the needle in place again right? Really appreciate your help!
  7. I love Liberators! I need one of those! Excellent work! Really nice weathering on the black bands!
  8. Hi, i got an Iwata HP-CS airbrush and it's quiete new. Untill now i used it to only one kit. I also got the Iwata cleaning set and I clean the aribrush every time i use it: not only externally but i detach each part end clean it. But it's now a few days that i got a problem: the eclipse it's a double action airbrush and worked fine. You push the lever and only air come throught. But now when i pushing the lever i got some colors that come with the air, and it should not do this. I cleaned all parts and reassembled it but got the same problem. When pushing the lever not only air come throught, like the first time i used it, but now it's start also to bring some colour. Anyone got an idea on what could be the problem? Thanks
  9. OMG guys! Tons os info here! What a community! I would like to thank you all for your inputs...they are all very welcome! My idea is to start with the Marsupiale and use the mimetic scheme that is on the box, the first one on this picture, which i suppose is the one used for the real photo: Even thought the second one looks really really much better it's a little bit too advanced for my airbrush skills. With your help i think i can now find the right colours to use. The only one i can't figure out it's the one that was used for the interior. I found some model kit pictures and they seems to use a light azure green that sometimes is darker. Is that the pale green flat FS 34227 [ "verde mimetico 53192 from the link by Giorgio]. In any case i will post the "work in progress" pictures on the forum so you will be able to correct me. Don't know why but i find the Marsupiale so "ugly beautifull" like the SM Sparviero...and for my happynes it's full of cables aaargh! Well i will try to do my best. Thanks you all for you help!
  10. Hi all, i got some italian war birds from Italeri. I got an Re. 2002 Ariete, a MC200 Saetta, a MC 205 Veltro and an SM 82 Marsupiale. I looked at the manuals and i have quite some problem to find the right colors. Some got F.S. codes but Others don't and it's like only Italery got the right ones. I found some colors kit like the LIFECOLOR one or the Italeri one. I can have Tamya, Gunze, LIFECOLOR, AK and Vallejo colors but i really dont' Know which to choose. The manuals have give those colors: Rust: ITA MM 4675 = ? Pale green= ? Italian sand flat: ITA MM 4720= ? Italian dark brown: ITA MM 4707= ? Italian olive gree flat: ITA MM 4734= ? Italian Olive green: ITA MM 2112= ? Aircraft grey: ITA MM 1731= ? Pale Green: FS 34337 = GUNZE HS 312? Flat mimetic brown 2: FS 30118 = TY XF-52? Flat mimetic Yellow 3: FS 33434 = ? Flat mimetic green 2: FS 34092 = ? Flat gull grey: FS 36622 = XF-16, GUNZE H311? Flat insigna Yellow: FS 33538 = GUNZE H329? Flat interior Green: FS 24449 = ? Nocciola chiaro 4: FS 30219 = XF-52, GUNZE H310? Verde Oliva scuro: FS 34052 = XF-13? Grigio azzurro chiaro 1: FS 36307 = GUNZE H324? Flat gunship gray: FS 36118 = XF-24, GUNZE H305? Flat verde oliva scuro: FS 34079 = GUNZE H309? Flat grigio azzurro chiaro: FS 34159 =XF-65? Any italian aricraft specialist? Thanks!
  11. Hi, i got an Italeri 1/48 AH-64 Apache attack helicopter. In looking for details. I already got the 30mm cannon from Master. I Know that Eduard got Hellfire kits [https://www.eduard.com/store/eduard/agm-114-hellfire-1-48.html?cur=2&listtype=search&searchparam=hellfire] but I did not find any other resin missile: i looked for Hydra...ehm well i think...I'm not really into modern aviation so i dont quite know what to search. I saw that Aires got a cockpit [http://www.aires.cz/en/product/ah-64a-apache-cockpit-set/0-751/] but it's for the Hasegawa kit...i don't think its compatible with the Italeri one but i was thinking to cut it and use only some parts: i don't like "decals" panels: do you think it's possible? If you got any suggestion Thanks!
  12. Yeah I agree... sometimes i think it's also i bit sad that people link WW2 air war only to Spitfire, P-51 and B-17 . Sure those birds are awesome and they achieved somenthing incredible...but there is a group of planes that deserve the same respect and without them the issue of war would have been not the same. Planes like the TBF, the SBD, the Swordfish, Sunderland or even the the Liberator sometimes disappear in the shadow of a few air war legends...but well...at least here in Switzerland we are lucky enough to have a SBD and the only remaining MS 406.
