I'm thinking a 1/32 Hurricane to complete the BOB history. Otherwise a Seafury to get a field goal .

1/72 - Curtiss C-46A/D Commando by Valom - released - new boxing in 2023
Corky replied to Homebee's topic in The Rumourmonger
Now we just need the 3 blade propellors for the C-46. Buffalo Airways which I am planning has the them. I did inquire. Valom doesn't have them in any of the kits. I was fortunate that a fellow modeller sent me the props from a Williams kit. -
Great looking work Jeff! Im learning a lot about the Airfix Spitfire from your postings. I'm still chugging along with my out of the box Spitfire. The kit is a lot of fun and interesting engineering by Airfix. Thanks.

My reference for the plane I'm doing shows no bar and another with a metal finished bar. I may leave it out 🤦♂️ -

Yes I had a look. Got a copy online. It's a good read with a lot of info. Im building one straight out the box open cockpit with no engine. I will build that later to display. What a fun well engineered kit. -

Thanks Dennis! Question was the large late production cowling used on some MK. IXs? I thought I had read that somewhere..... -

Hi Jeff, Your notes above are very interesting. Thanks for sharing! I have the kit on the bench right now having a great time with this kit. Planning Buzz Beurling's KH-B MA585. Unfortunately EagleCals decals are not very good. I was under the impression there were 3 different cowlings on the Mk.IX an early, a mid, and a late. The late being larger to accomodate the Packard Merlin. I need to do a little more reading/research to educate myself. 🤔 Keep up the sharing of this info. Inquiring Spitfire aficionados want to know 😃 -
Yes unfortunately quite a few of us paid for 1 or 2 of the Aeromodl 737s. Only having to wait 2 years so far....Not to be trusted in any thing they say. I asked for a refund 6 months ago and crickets!
