You need sunglasses just to look at those guys. Lovely work JIm. They are nice figures to paint, I did a box of pike men last year and some from handgunners from a wargames magazine last year and they take paint well. Stay safe mate

That,s a fabulous finish to a great build. First biplane, - really well done. I have one in the stash, it keeps daring me to build it, butI struggle with rigging.

This my latest model, being a home during lockdown helped to get this finished as the new wing leading edges are a pain to get anything like correct I tried to fit the new leading edges as a single assembly as suggest by the instructions but they were an awful fit. So I added the tops and bottoms to the appropriate wing halves then brought them together. This seemed to work but a bit of filling was still needed. Not perfect but not bad under a very bright light. X I used a set of Freightdog markings for the COs machine of 118 Squadron and they were excellent thought they need to be floated onto the model with lots of water as they stick like limpets. The nose door letter provided is yellow and it ought to be Black according to Cold War Shield by Roger Lindsay. I used a spare decal. Thanks for looking.

There was a Revell US release of the late Dog in 2009 but never made it over to this side of the pond AFAIK. It will be nice to get a few more to go with the 13 I've already built plus one converted to an F-86L

If it is in ROKAF markings it is likely to be the 'Late' moulding with the parabrake tail that has been hard to source in Europe.

Another stunning build. Is that the old or new Eduard kit? -
RNZAF Tiger Moth, NZ882, reference photo required
Silver Fox replied to 85sqn's topic in Aircraft WWII
There is a picture on page 39 of RNZAF - The first Decade 1937-46 by Charles Darby of a line up of Tiger Moths captioned as being at Harewood in 1940. AI NZ882 is the third aircraft in the line up and has a small Red/Blue roundel on the fuselage sides. The AI is quite chunky so the decals look pretty good to me. I'll have a look in some more books later but they in storage at the moment. Hope this helps -

With the enforced social distancing, I've had some time to work on my newest project, the 26th Division of the Grande Armee. These chaps are the 1st Battalion of the 8th Westphalians. Basically they are half a box of the latest Perry plastics. Thanks for looking not sure why the photos aren't posting I'll try again later

looking good Roger, it's a great build of an average kit. You make it shine. -
If you can get them the Gekko sheets are the best.
