I've been building models since about 1960 when my mum bought me an Airfix Skyhawk from Woolworths.

My interests are the Battle of Britain, the RNZAF and fifties jets, especially RAF and USAF machines. When not building aircraft I do the occasional 1/48th scale AFV and I am also a wargamer so I usually have some 28mm figures on the go or a FOW 15mm army. I am currently painting some 28mm Empress Miniature Maoris and British for the 1846 Maori War

I am the SIG Leader of the IPMS(UK) New Zealand Aviation SIG and I am a member of the Bomber Command SIG, the Battle of Britain SIG and the SAC SIG.
