  1. I use cleaning solutions from Mr Muscle and Motorbike cleaner, MUC OFF.
  2. I like using bone china thimbles because of the semi transparent walls. Mix the paint, hold thimble to light source and touch said wall with mixing stick ( in my case a coffee mixing stick) to see how opaque the mixture is. Bingo! Von Buckles
  3. Hi Andy, Tip no1: I use a plain old china thimbles for mixing my paint. ebay or charity shops always provides me with enough stock and for not a lot in the money department. Tip No2: To help keep the thimble vertical when full of paint I use the centres of cello-tape with plastic card glued to the base. Works a charm! Hope this helps. Cheers, Bob

  9. I buy direct from NZ and have it shipped to a friend in the USA. He flies into the UK fairly often and hands over the goodies. No tax, VAT and royal mail robbery. Marvellous! All I need to do is learn how to build models again. Von Buckle

  13. Hi JP, Yes, the tubing comes as a separate item. As the lads have already mentioned you can either get me to cut it for your or buy some Griffon 0.5 micro tube and cut your own. I'm sorry if I failed to make it clear enough on my website that both items are indeed, separate. Cheers, Bob

  21. I took the long way round method. 2 Pfalz DIIIa delivered to a buddy in the USA. He will be bringing them over in early feb on his next visit. No VAT and no customs to worry about. Happy days! When I get a chance to build the bloody thing is another matter Bob
