  1. Hello everyone. I present another model made straight from the box. I tweaked the landing gear, seats, and rocket myself. I focused mainly on painting, relying as much as possible on photos of a real machine from one specific moment of operation. This plane has many interesting places, which strongly affects the attractiveness of this painting. I used decals and painting scheme (paint) from HDL and unfortunately, in my opinion, the colors of the upper camouflage proposed by HDL are different than in reality. I mixed all the colors myself, trying to match them to the colors of the decals. Reference photos.
  2. Thanks for the positive feedback about the model, I'm happy with every positive post. Yes, the engine intake caps are made by me to cover the intakes which are the weakest part of the model. I armed the model with Mk.84 and M-117 bombs, which I saw in the photos of F-111. I used MRP SEA camouflage paints. The model builds nicely out of the air intakes and out of the fuselage front and rear connection.
  3. Hello Friends. I present a freshly assembled F-111A model. Model made straight from the box.
  4. Thank you very much. Thank you for this comment. This is one of the nicest comments I've ever read.
  5. My first model after a few months break caused by a serious finger injury. As part of the hand exercise, I built a model straight from the box but with a few additions from me to enrich this very ugly plane a bit. If it wasn't for the fact that I got this model as a prize, I would never have reached for it. In the end, to my surprise, it turned out to be a pretty cool model. Few details.
  6. Thanks mate. The construction of the F-14 stopped. In November I had a little accident and cut my finger with a saw. Slowly, the efficiency in the finger returns to normal, but before I return to the F-14, I will have to build a model straight from the box as part of my hand training. At the same time, I was working on another project that takes up as much time as the F-14.
  7. Canopy, part 3 HUD. HUD lens. After painting. Handles for emergency canopy dump.
  8. I did it, I built the first tank model in my life The choice fell on 7TP from First To Fight for several reasons. And they are the only correct scale, 1/72, the simplicity of the model and the ease of its assembly (few parts) and the fact that it is a Polish construction. As I do not deal with the armored car, I do not have modeling chemicals dedicated to this department and I did not see the point in buying such products for one small model. All the chemicals, paints and pigments are dedicated to the aviation department, so maybe they don't fit well here. I chose the colors based partly on the instructions, and partly choosing them by eye from what I had. Although I was very relaxed about this model, I must say that it was a nice springboard from aerial modeling. Who knows, maybe I will do something again someday. Feel free to watch and comment, just please have mercy on the newbie.
  9. It is my mistake that upsets me. Unfortunately, I noticed my mistake after I put a clearcoat on the model. Thank you all for the good opinions about the model, maybe someday I'll do some Mirage but rather the F1 version.
  10. Thanks everybody. In my opinion, these are the most beautiful Mirage III B paints I have ever seen.
  11. Mirage III BZ "Flying Cheetahs" of South African Air Force. Model straight out of the box, folds very well. Main landing gear requires attention. It is best to glue them with CA glue, otherwise the connection is very delicate and easy to break off, which I found out by simply placing the model on the desk. Now, after snapping off, one shin is slightly bent. I only made ladders on my own. I was modeled on these photos.
  12. No, but if you want nice and clear glass, you have to make it yourself. Set glass is terrible, even polishing doesn't help much because of internal distortions. Thank you all for the positive reviews of the model.
  13. Only the F8 code is a decal from the set, the rest of the markings are painted.
  14. I'm done with the radar. Initially, the front of the antenna was from the set, finally I removed it and made a new one from scratch. This makes the antenna more like the original. I also installed the antenna base and did the missing cables. In the future it will look like this.
  15. A little update. I have finished the next elements of the radar antenna. I added a few elements to the base of the antenna, while all the electronics behind the antenna were made from scratch. This is the component given by the kit manufacturer. And this one built by me, the whole consists of 72 parts.
  16. Thank you very much.😁 Ok, here's the next step. The electronics bay is ready. I also sharpened the edges of the air intake. At the moment, Tomcat looks like this.
  17. This weakness is visible in the photos, but on the ladder there is a brush made of the same materials as the real brush.🙂
  18. Thank you all for the kind words. Especially because it is my first mini diorama.
  19. The idea came to my mind to make a Hurricane model showing the plane in the process of being serviced and painting the fuselage stripes. The scene shows the moment when the work on the plane was stopped because it was five o'clock and it was time for afternoon tea.🤣🤪 Model made straight out of the box. These photos inspired me.
