  1. good evening gentlemen. i am looking for information about Coastal Command Beaufighter MK1 carrying bombs: whitch rack did they use,and whitch bombs? can please someone help on this one?
  2. Thank you all for the answers
  3. so the first one(on top of post) can be a C or more probably a B? or both are C types, one early and one late product?
  4. well, sorry i did nt make my self clear. on the second picture, there is really a double pannel, and it is not just a modified photo.please note on this picture too: plus,on the first picture from the pilot note,we can see the Barr and stroud gunsight mount,so it cant be a picture took from some American documentation
  5. Good morning gentlemen while modelling Desert Air Force Tomahawk,i came to wonder: on pilot notes and manual,it appear that we have 2 different instrument panels. first one,the same that we have on American use P40B and 😄 then the second one, only on British P40s,AFAIK,seems like a second Panel has been sticked on the first one: so,those 2 configurations existed on British P40C,or the first one is P40B(no glass armor) and the second a C?i am a bit lost in this . could somebody please clarify this?
  6. Hi Jonny. thank you for the color confirmation.i m sure of it now. i don’t think my mate would need other pictures.do you Yotheguy?(he registered here too)
  7. Good evening gentlemen one of my mates is modeling the cockpit of a Falco, and looking for the accurate color of a 1940/1941 Africa campaign CR 42. i saw pics of a museum one, with the hull being painted with an almost similar to British cockpit light green, but not sure of it. Please could a connoisseur give us advice?
  8. Ok found answer in browsing into different threads here.the Dupont light green. i ve been searching a lot,but just could nt find any picture of the ammo counters for the 2 nose mounted Browning ANM2 MGs no surviving aircraft seem to have them. please, does anybody have a picture of it?
  9. Thank you for helping gentlemen. what should be the paint color for a early 1941 DAF Tomahawk?
  10. There is a window on the port side of the sliding hood, and it s on all the hood length. 100% sure.and the hinge is visible from the outside,it s an horizontal hinge also on all the length of the hood i saw the P40 B panorama, and you can see that on port side, the middle horizontal frame is in 2 parts, while the starboard is one frame.sadly the canopy is opened and we can't see the windows opening system pics soon
  11. Good day gentlemen. i am currently 3D modeling Tomahawk Cockpit for Il 2 Clod future add on in north Africa. i got lots of cockpit photos, but almost nothing of the sliding canopy interior.the most important is that there is a hinged window on port side, and I don't have any reference of the opening mechanism. if someone here have some reference, could you please share?
