Hi Greg, I didn't have any problems with it. But if you will be doing a close engine version, you have to crave or sand engine block hire and there to make it fit. And you don't have to install engine brackets. For an open version, it is unnecessary to sanding it or make another kind of alteration. This kit is pretty well designed, it shouldn't have any mistakes. If you send me a picture I will be able to help you much better.

1/48 Eduard Messerschmitt BF 110 G 4 nachtjager

Fantastic, nice paint job. Well done -
Hello, I just completed this lovely kit from Eduards 1/48 scale. Messerschmitt BF 109 E 7 from 2 Staffel/JG 27 flown over Libya in spring 1941. "Weekend Edition" is quite a funny name, because I don't think it can be done over the weekend. Maybe in Blizbuild, who knows. The kit was nice to build. By me, is the best ME 109 replica avaliable on the market right now. I used Hataka paints for main camouflage and oil-based paints for weathering. I hope that you will like it, enjoy .

Hello everyone, On plane's pictures in a reference book, the longerons are quite visible inside wheel bays. Therefore I had to add plastruct profiles to make it more realistic. The fuselage was sanded and remodeled. Like I had mentioned it before parts fitting was terrible. The top part has to be sand a quite of bit to make it fit into the main fuselage, it was sticking out about 2mm outside and the gap on one site was about 1mm. It was off in every direction. I don't have a clue how to fix the canopy, but the project going slowly forward.

Hello everyone, after a long time, I had started reworking on this nightmare kit. Resin parts are off the scale and plastic parts don't fit properly. Canopy is made from low-Quality plastic. Nevertheless, I will try to finish it.

What paint did you used for upper surfaces ? Sand color from...? -
Nice work, putty is our best friend 😀

WOW, that was fast, nice Swordfish. Good work.

Hello, Progress is slow. I have managed to fit in a resin nouse. The entire kit's engine compartment was cut off to accommodate aftermarket resin nouse. This resin part was dedicated to the Amtech kit, as you can see it fit quite nicely. I have to use putty to finish it, a lot of it.

Thanks, every one, for your comments. I was afraid to over "wethered" the kit. But it came out just right.

Nicely done Messer, I like it. Good color modulation, a bit of wash here and there will be nice. Nevertheless a very good job.

Nice one, good job. -
Hello, I just have complete this nice kit, it was a short run made by Sword in 1/72. The kit is not to bad for a short run, picky model builders might say that an interior needs more detailing. Inside instruction, sheet you can find some minor mistakes in part for the interior assembly. Better is to crosscheck outside historical reference. The details on wings and fuselage are very good and accurate. That makes this kit so nice, but I added a resin engine because one form the kit didn't look like one. It was so nice that I couldn't force my self to covet it. That is why I made it open. The car is from Kora, it needed some upgrade. It was done a bit sloppy, railing and wheels were horrible and beyond repair. Arado was painted by AK Interaktive paints, the scheme is from Kreta. Enjoy.

Sorry to hear that, It is important to put a clear coat of gloss paint, it helps to protect the surface much better. From your picture I can see that probably pain under the decals has reacted, not the decal.

Arado Ar-196A2, Scharnhorst 1940

Davey, watch for radio hood (your last picture) it won't fit into a canopy. I had to make, a smaller one. !!!!!!!!!! Another mistake is na pilot's head support above radio hood. Watch for this one. -
Hello Everyone, Finally,I have started working on this project. The interior has been painted in US interior green MR Hobby 58. I will add PE parts to the cockpit, therefore, some kit's parts have to be removed form the sprue/mold. The plan is to leave cabin a open that is why the interior has to be done well.

Hello DaveyGair I just have finished my Arado form Sword. You can make a nice replica, from this short run kit. Please check my kit, I have only added a resin engine and dolly car, the rest was from the box. I hope you don't mind. -

Welcome, it is nice kit. Good luck with your build . -
Blabber Mouth, because it is old Amtech. Nothing else is available on the market, and this one is hard to come by. Amtech don't make it any more.

Da da !!! Finally, it arrived. I was looking for this kit on the net for some time. My mind was set up on this particular painting scheme and any other one was out of the question. I'm so happy!!! 😀 Finally I can start working on my kit.
