Thank you @Learstang indeed it is a large and rather large and of course heavy model with all the RC stuff inside.

And this is how it sounds and looks KV 1 running

Had itrunning outside tonight and had a blast. Well it is a tank anyway, right? Honestly, it is running fantastic and feels perfectly solid. I hoped for some dirt to acumulate, what the soil was to hard packed from the rain. Maybe next time. Under natural light in the sunset one gets the best impression of the colour. Lights are working as well.

All the cobbles are scratched into the solid plaster Layer? Well That sounds like some fun work to me.... Not! But it is looking really good, but the ruin at least was bought, right?
-
Very nice details you added there. The scene looks amazing. The tank is nice as well. I would consider two small upgrades though, just a bit of dust overall to knock back the shinyness and just a khaki colour over the gun cover to break up the monotony should give it the right touch.

Hey there, have been busy with some things so limited modelling time. I decided to do chipping but not the Light color with filled dark color, but a dark color overall instead. First I went with some dry brushing with the nes Abtl. 502 Copper Oxide Green (great color ) Then I went on with some Sponge chipping with the darker Green from the Lifecolor set. I guess now would be the time with some brush chipping.

Looks fantastisch and I agree with you about the chipping. Still that dual tone chipping adds alot of interest . -
Thx it looks good to me.

Very nicely done. Did you do drybrushing gor some of the highlights?

At first I thought you bought yourself a Full size reference link

Ah, naah, I can understand. Doing a nice set of Tracks is always enjoyable.
-
Considering the time between this and the previous post you could have taken the oob route as well.

Another week later, after doing the base coat in acrylics, then the oil paint modulation, now was the pinwash with a 50:50 mix of Ammo of MIG Dark Wash with Track Wash for a dark reddish brown color. Pushing the green towards a warmer looking appearance and enhancing the detail. The running gear and wheels got some additional treatment. The wheels rims were also painted in Mr color burnishable steel color.

The colours and results are stunning. I already liked the color diversity in the unweathered model. It look even better now.
-
Now that I have this diverse basecoat I can follow the next step of the 30ish episodes of the Wilder series you once brought to my attention, which is the shadows and pin wash, that is around episode 5 😬

Model and scene both look amazing

Wow. Really nice result. The wood grain is oil paint over acrylics on the Thompson? -
This base coat of dark yellow looks fantastic already.

I am done with the base coat now. Did some work to the fenders and an extra time on the wheels and quickly put it together for finishing the second chapter.

Nice edge highlights on the running gear as well -
Thank you Lloyd, I am happy that you like this approach. I don't hold any patents for this technique really I tried to attempt the weathering similar to the Adam Wilder kv Videos. Coincidentally, Mig Jimenez also juat uploaded a video with oil paint modulation on YouTube.

Went ahead. Have to say , it is rather tedious, is that the right term? It takes some time to achieve nice results, but they are rather effortless and don't require too many expensive products. I can now assume how it would be possible the get some color modulation rather easiliy without an airbrush. Went for the fender mounted boxes and gave shading towards the hull and some light towards the front. The single bis on the right fender was also coloured differently. Also went for the front a d back and achieved some interesting shadows and streaking on the run.
