Well it’s been a few years since I joined Britmodeller so I suppose it’s about time to pluck up courage and start building (it is many years since I built a kit!).

I like aviation topics (my other hobby is flying radio control model aircraft). Two aircraft which have held a long time appeal are the Boulton Paul Defiant and the Messerschmitt BF 109E-4.

I have a modicum of craft skills but am new to the latest techniques for plastic modelling. All advice and criticism is welcome.
