  1. Holy carp, that's enormous! Yet another plane I can't build becauseI wouldn't have anywhere to put it, I shall have to live vicariously through your build.
  2. What an amazing model you've made here. The workmanship is just amazing!
  3. I like the blue edge as it is TBH, it's a nice contrast to the darker sea surface but doesn't take the eye away from the model itself.
  4. Wow, that is amazingly closer to the original, very nice indeed
  5. How have you made your 'tank biscuits' - is that a piece of cork or chipboard by any chance?
  6. Awesome. I love the T-28's, there's something about the quirky design that appeals to me. Will any of that suspension etc be viewable from underneath or is it all completely hidden?
  7. Home made lathe? The rust looks amazing, how have you achieved that?
  8. Just out of interest, where did you get the jig from, or is it a stock photo?
  9. Amazing, that's really nice and the figure is so much better than the normal stuff we get.
  10. That's amazing... I'm off to find your Centaur build now 😁
  11. Amazing, I've got two of these in my stash (long story) but haven't had the time or gumption to have a go yet. I'll have a look through your U505 wip next to see what the build is like. Are they similar build processes?
  12. Great thread, as well as a great way to entice more people to try a resin kit. I'm firmly in the "yes, it is nice but oh &£+@, it's resin" camp!
  13. A lovely piece of work. I didn't see the figure at first either and think the lack of one (or one being so much in the background) adds to the poignancy.
  14. This is amazing. I'm pretty sure I built this kit when 'I was a lad'.
  15. Came from your MGB658 build thread to look at this. It's utterly fantastic, an amazing build.
  16. Unfortunately yes (although not to me... yet!). As soon as I read that I thought you'd used solvent based filler.
  17. You forgot photography too! Andy, what equipment are you using? That's some amazing photography too. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but the SU-18 verison is in stock at Hannants too https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/ARM722214
  18. The Bradley is one of the few modern armour kits I'd like to do. This looks like an interesting build and a couple of places have it at £27 so I'm tempted to pick this one up.
  19. Personally, I'd go with the Hs-126, simply because it 'looks funny'!
  20. I thought I already had TBH but... I put my name against a few for 2016 and 2017 but due to a new job it all went pear shaped. I started two seaplanes (neither of which I finished!) and didn't get round to even starting any of the others, so maybe my name was taken off any GB lists? I guess I need to find a way to bring up all my old posts so I know what I'm supposed to be doing 🤔 Anyways, I have a Dragon Pz IV G (1/35 - 6363) and an Italieri Stug IV (1/35 223) already and I'll probably pick up the Revell 1/72 3184 kit
  21. That looks great, definitely stealing that colour mix! What colours did you use for the green?
  22. I'm finally managing to scrape together some modelling time after starting a new post in January(!). I'm currently building a Tamiya Panzer IV H in 1/35 (35209) and have a 1/35 Dragon IV G in my small stash (6363) but I thought it would be a nice idea to build up a 1/48 and 1/72 scale Panzer IV just for the hell of it / scale comparison / I should be at least able to find time to build a 1/72 tank sometime soon! So could you tell me which are the best (without being stupidly priced) 1/48 and 1/72 scale Panzer IV's* ? Thanks! *Any version will do.
  23. Very nicely done and an amazing size for something that's 1/72!
