If I've understood you correctly, I should remodve the wire running from the tail to the mast......

That's great news for me, because the worst part whenever I build a Spitfire, and believe me, planning to build a few of them, is adding that wire...!!!

I've got a pointed wing Mk.VII in my mind, and even a Mk.IX in Prue Pink, and that tiny wire is the only thing that keeps me from building them.....
