Hi, I have the Revell 1/72 Tornado GR1 (4333) kit with the bag still sealed but no decals or clear sprue along with the C Scale Tornado F2 AFV conversion kit (AC14). This has the resin nose cone and fuselage plug plus the white metal wing root fairings, fin camera housing and missiles etc. Free to a good home for the cost of the postage. cheers Bob

Superb build and finish! A cracker!! cheers Bob -
Great memories all flooding back after seeing those pictures at Warton! Wish I had a iPhone then! I worked on the Flight Team once I had settled in on 318 Dept (Jaguar Production) in 5 Hanger. We used to get the real paint from the Sprayshop to paint our Airfix Jag models! All three tone then of course!! cheers Bob
-
Yea, lots of yellow primer! The first two photos are of 4 Hanger at Warton, great pics! cheers Bob
-
When I first arrived at Warton I worked with the guys who unloaded the Front fuselage (and the wine ) from the French trucks when they arrived (Top of 5 Hanger) and then they married the rear fuselage to the newly arrived Front! Next stage was the fitting of French Omissions (the parts that had not arrived in Biarritz before the front was shipped). Then the Main wing was fitted and then the whole caboodle moved next door to 4 Hanger to join the assembly line. cheers Bob
-
The front fuselage back until the bulkhead aft of the Airbrake bays were built in France (Biarritz) and the rear fuselage plus the wings were built by BAC in England. cheers Bob
-
Great job, a great looking Jag!! Well done. cheers Bob

Don't forget the CNAM museum at Norwich Airport, really well worth a visit and not far from the Norfolk and Suffolk Air Museum at Flixton ! cheers Bob

Sorry but if you mean the bulges with the louvered vents at the rear underneath the gun bay doors then yes they were on both sides even on a two seater! XX829 at Newark Museum has both. http://nabe3saviation.web.fc2.com/images9/waJag-25.jpg apologies if this breaches any copyright. If you mean the round vent pipes then only one. http://nabe3saviation.web.fc2.com/images9/waJag-29.jpg cheers Bob
