  1. I warmly recommend the 2017 STAR WARS CHRONICLES EPISODE IV, V AND VI - VEHICLES book from Gakken. It is in Japanese but the pictures of the original props are the best you can find in any book available and the big size (the book is 39.2cm x 29.6cm x 5.5cm) makes a huge difference. The only real con is the price. My 5 cents.
  2. From this source: It seems (to me) Kylo Ren 'refurbished' mask is a mash-up of both the old mask and the broken Darth Vader mask:
  3. I agree with you that a proper masking can be applied to former x-wings kits to achieve the same painting outcome but from the images (source😞 it seems the new kits are designed to have colored sections separated from the white/grey ones making the painting easier.
  4. A new Bandai 'Kinder Surprise' scale (this time 1/100000) Star Wars vehicle will be released in August (in Japan): VEHICLE MODEL 016 SUPER STAR DESTROYER (source).
  5. A mini-masterpiece (mini just for the size) beauty as usual!
  6. It seems we are going to get two version of the BANDAI Star Destroyer: with or without LED lighting kit. Good to see that both versions will include a 1/5000 MF and a blockade runner!
  7. I love Bandai 'Kinder Surprise' scale but a 1/72 scale Slave I It would be nice as well! 😉
  8. They tease us! https://twitter.com/HobbySite/status/1093456722805481474
  9. I agree. I'm a big fan of the original run (seen long time ago in my infancy) and I have appreciated the new series, but I have at least 15 related kits to be built in my stash so I guess I'm fine for the next 10 years or so!😉
  10. First time I've ever heard of this kit. Some info on 1999.co.jp: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10045437 I guess from the size (37 cm long) it should be 1/700 scale.
  11. Yes this mecha should be 8 meters tall, still really impressive! The animated movies of Patlabor directed by Mamoru Oshii (director of the original "Ghost in the Shell") have a special place in my otaku hearth: highly recommended!
