Very nice. I've just built the MKVII by airfix but this MkIII by Italeri looks a much better model to put together. Good work on the camo.

1/35 Matilda MkIII/IV. Tamiya (35300)
Nurwin replied to kiwitrogg's topic in Ready for Inspection - Armour
Recently I went to the tank museum in Bovington before the lockdown. The Matilda was a really nice tank to look around and read about. They were surprisingly effective as infantry support tanks. You've done a great job welldone. -

Having never heard nor seen this Aircraft I read with intrigue. It certainly didn't have a good safety record did it? You've done a good job ππ and thankyou for bringing it to our attention. It's interesting to see it was influenced by German engineering.- 17 replies

Look at that camo scheme. Love it a really fantastic model. Can I ask where they all given these lovely camo schemes? -
I never model German aircraft but I really should give one a go. Your 109 looks great it really does. Welldone. Did they all have colourful unique noses?

What a great build. I own an air brush but always admire those who brush paint and get such good results. It looks fantastic. -
Hello Woody, what a fantastic collection. My Grandfather was an instrument fitter for the RAF during the war and worked on Halifax aircraft before being posted to Aiden. So the Halifax for me is the standout. However, they are all superb as is the finishing. Edit: will you be adding a mosquito to the collection ? Thanks for sharing.

Thankyou I do have some in stock I just couldn't get my head around the actual colour I much preferred the box art colour. However I shall try the crimson and see how it turns out. Not sure I'm brave enough the attempt the floro orange scheme. But Ty for the info.

Hello, I'm about to start a build on the airfix Tiger Moth however it says on the back the main fuesalage color is humbrol 20 crimson gloss, however I can't find any reference to this colour and much prefer the idea of a flat red.

When I was 15 I built an airfix Zero. So naturally after a break of 22 years my first build had to be an airfix zero. I believe this is the new tooling. The canopy went a bit wrong but all in all I really enjoyed modelling again. -
Hello, So only 3 years later i've built that A6M2b Zero i tried my hardest to get that sun bleached look that i had read about as the real colour of the Zero seems lost in folk lore or it was just a very odd green. I messed the canopy up with a spillage but i was damned if i was going to buy a whole new kit just for the canopy so perhaps we can just say it is well worn. Next on the bench is that 1/72 Spitfire PR.XIX I hope you like my first attempt. Airfix Zero by Burrdock, on Flickr
