  1. Unfortunately the photos you refered are mockup Brahmos missiles with mockup pylons. The real Brahmos should be mounted into belly like this. You can clearly find its postion against the nose gear and intakes. This is when IAF lauched the missile for test. It clearly shows that the missile is closer to belly, compared with your photos. You can also find the pylon specifically designed for Brahmos. And also the reinforcement mounting structure added on the belly.
  2. No, they are very minor errors, especially very few will notice the main gear bays once you finish the model, so the cost performance of (expensive and time consuming) mold revision vs (less visible) finished effect is too low.
  3. Here you go. No UB in plan. The tank in 48 scale was correct too, did not change that in 72 scale. While most of shape issue of 48 scale has been fixed.
  4. Mold for variant A parts are ready cut, together with C. Patience, gentlemen.
  5. Thank you all for your encouragement! This built took me 2 months but it worth all the input! Have a nice weekend.
  6. Hello everyone It has been a while since my last post. This work I want to present to you, was finished during Shanghai lock down in 2022. Although the number of works completed in last year is only two, which is the lowest score in terms of quantity, I am now comforting myself with the two works that I am very satisfied with in terms of quality. One of them is this "Downed Bald Eagle" F-16CG Block 40 US Air Force 555th FS Commander's plane. The base kit is Tamiya's 1/48 F-16C/N "Aggressor", modified to Block 40 F-16CG. Aftermarket parts include Fabscale's F110 nozzle, Orange Hobby's metal and resin AIM-120B missile, Eduard's resin GBU-24 bomb, AN/ALQ-131, AN/AAQ-13 and AN/AAQ-14 pods, Master metal dischargers. The AIM-9L "Sidewinder" missile is by AMK parts. Well, the key feature of this work is the background and its history. -Reproduced the aircraft of Mr. David Goldfine, commander of the 555th Regiment of the US Air Force stationed at Aviano, Italy, which was shot down in "Operation Allied Force" on May 2, 1999. He was rescued immediately after being shot down, and after that he was able to rise to the rank of 4-star general. The mounted armament is the position at the time of the mission that was shot down(not quite sure since I did not find exact reference from Internet), and the painting is also based on the advice of a former 555th regiment official, recreating the moment of the last takeoff before being shot down. Another interesting thing was that a friend in Serbia sent me some of the wreckage of this plane, so I custom-ordered a wooden base and exhibited it together with the work. I am very grateful to him for his kindness. By the way, the wreckage of this shot down aircraft is still exhibited in the museum in Belgrade, the capital of the Republic of Serbia. For modelers, it was a great blessing to be able to make friends on both the American side and the Serbian side through modeling. That may be the true charm of scale models. Thank you for watching.
  7. I have made some crappy view of the building process and uploaded to Youtube. 【4K】Sukhoi Su-27 "Flanker-B" heavy fighter 1/48 GWH complete building record (7 months into 1 hour!)
  8. Thank you! Actually the APA-5D is not a Maz, but a Ural truck chasis.
  9. Their vendor changed the decal fomular since 2018 so recent decal quality is no worse than Cartograf, according to my own utilization experience.
  10. Do you have concern about nose in 1/48 scale? Seems it’s accurate in 48 scale kit. Basically 72 one is down scaled from 48 scale data. Although some errors have been fixed, the nose cone is same with 48 ones.
  11. Thank you all for your nice comment and encouragement! Yes you can find it at the beginning of this thread. Yes indeed. I supposed to make the camera man taking photo of the pilot, but was told by Russian that their pilots never take photos before flight! So I had to stop the relationship between them. Honestly, I agree. The so called 1/48 scale bike was made by the British brand Flightpath, and yes indeed it is a bit underscale, maybe. Actually the wheels are same size on 2 types(for men and for women) so I chose the one for women which generally shall be smaller than the one for men. But still, it's bit underscale but I have no other option so far...(1/35 scale bikes are way too big). Hope you enjoy the pictures!
  12. That's all. What needs to be proven, is now proved by myself, who designed this kit, and also built this kit. Nothing more to explain I believe. Thanks for watching. Have a nice day. Yufei
  13. Building period Aircraft: 5 months (Dec 2021- April 2022) Accessories and diorama: 3 months (April 2022- July 2022) Aircraft mostly OOB except D&W landing gears, resin nozzles, Master metal dischargers. WIP thread:
  14. Congratulation on a great built, from an Eagle lover. Please allow me to tell one of the little concern, maybe only from me: It seems like the Eagle nose is a bit too upward, against the ground line, or compared with the vertical fins. It may due to the too long nose gear, or the whole nose is glued too upward? I added some lines so that I hope to explain myself better Blue line: vertical fins angle Red line: plane center line angle(from tail to nosecone point) Yellow line: ground Just my 2 cents and hope you do not mind. Have a nice day!
  15. Congratulation on this magnificant built! Most brillian Buccaneer I have ever seen! I used to prefer RAF desert storm scheme better but your work has convinced me to buy the RN version. Hope it will land in China soon...and not so expensive. Cheers, Yufei
  16. Simply the BEST Flanker kit in any scale: Great Wall Hobby GWH Flanker family, with adequate detail level by easy+straightforward building experience. I simply hate those over-engineered mode kits(if you still call them model kits) because it's simply waste of my precious time and energy. Afterall the final effect is up to your skill, not the so called "details" from kit part number!! Will definitely build more of GWH Flanker kits. Have a nice weekend~
  17. I also finished the APA-5D starter vehicle for the diorama. Next is the airfield itself. Thanks for watching.
  18. Still working on the diorama. New progress here(since April)
  19. Hi Aigore I think you reversed the gluding turn of windshield and nose cone. Actually windshield should be glued first, then glue the nose cone. Because there is a angeled step between windshield and nose cone, if you glue nose cone ahead, you cannot insert windshield smoothly. So just follow the instruction sheet and do not disorder it. I had no problem with gluing those 2 parts during my built. (Yes I know some people prefer to glue clear parts AFTER painting them, but I do no recommend that in case there is gap between clear parts and fuelage.) Yufei
  20. Thanks a lot friend! Hope my work will be inspiring and more people will build Su-27s, the most elegant Flanker in the family! Yufei
  21. Thanks a lot! Thank you! It's a pity not to replicate those details on kit .
