  1. Looking good too, Hm, my paint test of the Hu 40 looks more brownish, did it long time ago, shall maybe forget it and go for a more lighter grey. Thank you! Svake
  2. Hi Niel, very nice Comet! I am building the same kit now and soon ready for some paint. What paint did you use under the body? They say Hu 40 but in my eyes it looks wrong, what did you use? Svake
  3. At last, As many says, not my scale, but as it is a Starfighter and my favorite airplane the future is saved as modellbuilder. This kit is a beauti, has it all, next must be the A/C version. My biggest Starfighter is in 1:18 scale, USAF F-104C, beautiful! So next scale must be 1:12 :0) Thank you Italeri!
  4. Today I change to the 0.6mm/0.4mm tube did also buy a 0.4mm tube with 0.2mm inner diameter for to get inside the 0.6, have never done this before, maybe crazy. Sven-Ake
  5. Maybe I am on the right track when I guess it is close to 0.6mm, hard to see the different in so small differences, but with three together it shows. Sven-Ake
  6. Have been thinking at to replace the guns with metal tubes but what outer diameter has the guns in real, need it for to get the approximate size? I am working on Swords new P-40K in 72 scale. At the moment I have 0.8mm tube, maybe too thick? I now know it is a blast-tube not the gun, but I still need the size in mm. Sven-Ake
  7. Who has not been waiting for a an akkurat Mig-15 in 72 scale. The KP kit is good but not "perfect", sorry to say the new Airfix Mig-15 is one of the worst I have seen, very strange they made it so bad as there are plenty of good drawings and all other new kits that are so good. I am going to buy many of Eduards if it shows up to be better then the KP kit. Good luck with your MIg-15s! Svake
  8. It looks great, very nice job Muller! Also the way you show how you did it. Sven-Ake
  9. When looking in the Walk Around F-86, number 21, I found three pictures with the "The Huff" on the plane. It looks in my eyes as they are taken in Korea. The first picture has one star the other two two killmarks, on the pictures the pilot was Lt Earl Wisecarver. Clear is that the spines are red, not orange. I have never seen any picture at the plane with orange spines. By the way, the Monograms 48 scale kit had them painted green! They was so at the Mig-15, what I have heard. Have a nice day.
  10. Very nice placed at the stand and the model looks great, well done! Svake
  11. Great job at my favorit plane, looks as it has realy made a good service, as they always did! Svake
  12. Good to see one that do the model, have one my self + some of the other Yak 25/28 kits. They are hard to get together, specialy to understand the drawings but as noone else do the models we fight with them. I am still, after many years, not ready with my Yak 28PM. Good luck with the kit! Sven-Ake
  13. Hm this was not easy, have too many I like but number one is no problem. 1. F-104 Starfighter. 2. Yak-28. 3. Mig-21. 4. F-86. 5. F-5. Sven-Ake
  14. Hi, have three pictures showing the end at the engine and they show a little how it can look inside. It also use to be like a burnt white or some kind of ofwhite inside but could just now not find that picture. I use to paint my Starfighters matt black as you don't see so much in there. 15. Thanks all, I hope I can get them on at some way. Svake
  16. Does anyone have any drawing that show where the antennas sits under the Hawker Hunter when Black Arrows used them? What I have seen it is three of them. Svake
  17. It was in August, two lovely days, but I was there only one. SAAB B 18 SAAB Safir J 32 Lansen underground. JAS 39 Gripen J 32 Lansen J 32 Lansen Sven-Ake
  18. What is more wonderful then to sitt just behind the airplanes at the sideline, get the air in the face when they start the engines and realy feel the sound, Woodchuch Wings and Things is lovely to visit, have been there two times. The first time I missed the market place, too many trees and planes I think and my brain was too hot. Some of the picture was taken with the DV camera as I not could zoom in so much with the digital camera. Sven-Ake
  19. But you can see it clear too. Sven-Ake
  20. Manston is a nice place with two museums close togehter. Sven-Ake
  21. Thanks Rafalbert, the age of the model makes so it is missing some parts at it, but it has a lot of nostalgia for me. Here is a picture of my Mig-9 that was the first Russian buildt jet to fly, it was just some hours before the Yak-15 at the same day, 24 April 1946. Sven-Ake
  22. Thank you very much for showing us your excellent pictures! Many great planes! Could spend some days there I think. Sven-Ake
  23. Time for me to show my old KP modell of the Mig-15, made for around 20 years ago but looks still good for me. Sven-Ake
  24. Yes they looked great, first time we saw it we thought they was real but when we got closer we saw what it was, great work! Sven-Ake
  25. Sorry Falcon that you took it so hard, but you shall know we all makes mistakes at models and if someone tells me if I have made something wrong and can easy correct the mistake I would just be happy. Another great thing you did was to show your nice model, many just talks and build but never show us what they are doing. But I apologize and have learned me that I never shall do any statement about any models in the future, we never know how people takes it. Please show your models in the future, all models shall be showed, it shall be as you say a happy time to build a model. Svake
