  1. Great idea, nicely done. The Cruel Sea is one of my favourite naval novels. It resulted in an enduring affection for Flower Class Corvettes.
  2. I don't think I have ever seen Raspberry Ripple looks so good. It suits the Bucc so well. lovely paintwork, Zebra.
  3. That's a real beauty. I appreciate a nicely weathered model, but there is something about a pristine museum piece that really appeals to me. Inspirational!
  4. Putty Animal, I want to buy a copy of your book when it is published, as surely it must be.
  5. Absolutely exquisite! Wingnut Wings out of your league? I think not. I could easily mistake your beauty for a well-executed Wingnut Wings kit. What did you build it out of, gossamer and pixie dust? Do take a bow, good sir.
  6. Gorgeous. Very nice work indeed. A Wulf in Sheep's clothing!
  7. That's fabulous. Amazing work. It would be great to have a collection of instrument panels from classic aircraft.
  8. Great choice of schemes. I need to add one of these to my small but growing "wolves in sheep's clothing" collection of captured aircraft with RAF markings. Lovely job!
  9. Wonderful collection of captured aircraft. Would love to see some of Italian and Japanese types as well.
  10. Crikey! That's absolutely magnificent. It would be convincing at 1:1 scale.
  11. Nice work on a subject that doesn't get much attention. I had one of these kits, but I managed to crack the large clear part and kind of gave up. You inspire me to try again so that I can add a Wasp to my collection.
  12. To quote Indiana Jones: "That belongs in a museum!" Lovely, clean build of an interesting subject. Thanks for the inspiration.
  13. That's a real cracker! And the King Air is lovely too. Thanks for the inspiration.
  14. Let me start by saying that's a really nice build and beautiful paint job. But allow me a quibble, as I recently built (and posted) one of these. Photos of Harry Broadhurst's Storch (Churchill's Taxi) show the greenhouse was the variant with the raised rear and round gun mount replaced by a flat clear panel. I modified the kit part by drilling out the perspex bubble and substituting a flat panel of clear acrylic.
  15. That put's my efforts to shame. Your execution of the camouflage is stunning. You have captured the essential frailty of the Storch beautifully.
  16. That's a gorgeous finish, no matter how you slice it. Mistake? Meh! You have captured the unique construction brilliantly.
  17. Oh, I can see the pictures alright, and lovely they are too! I just love the early British jets.
  18. Wow! I was afraid to tackle this because it is such an old kit (and a bit of dog from what I have read), but you have shown what can be done with it. Thanks for the encouragement by example.
  19. Now that is nice! Such an iconic aircraft made just that much better by RAF livery. Dare we hope Airfix will do the same in 1/72?
  20. Very nicely done. I have one partly built. I can only hope it turns out half as nice.
  21. Welcome back! Don't be intimidated by the amazing work you see posted on Britmodeller. If you build British, you are part of the family!
